Welcome Trailer: Enjoy Origami Online with Sara Adams

Hi, my name’s Sara Adams and my channel is
all about enjoying origami online. It’s all about paperfolding.
So in most of my videos, you won’t be seeing me. You’ll be seeing my hands and a sheet
of paper. That’s because most of my videos are of an instructional kind. I take a sheet
of paper and show you step by step how to fold that sheet of paper into a beautiful
origami model. These instructional videos I upload about
once a month, but I also do a couple of other videos. Such as time lapses, where I spend
many hours on a project and then speed it up, so that you can enjoy kind of that work
of hours in maybe a minute or so. I also do giveaways, where I give away origami paper
or origami books or gift certificates for online shops. And those obviously need to
have a deadline, which is usually a couple of days or a week. So especially for those
it’s really good to be subscribed, so that you don’t miss out on those great giveaways.
The models I demonstrate range in complexity. I’ve put together some playlists with kind
of simple, intermediate, and advanced models. Now the simple models are there for everyone
to enjoy, obviously. But especially the advanced ones, you might need to have prior origami
experience or special paper. But, you know, as you follow along my videos, you may actually
progress in your origami skills and be able to complete those more complex origami projects,
too. So really, there’s hopefully there for everyone, be it that you’re a beginner or
you’re already a total origami enthusiast, hooked like I am.
With that I’m going to send you off to my videos. Enjoy them, if you like comment them.
I love it when you comment, it really motivates me and keeps me going in producing more videos.
But most of all, just enjoy folding. My website’s called happyfolding.com, because I want to
spread happiness with my videos, and that’s, you know, the essence of the whole project.
So, feel happy, be happy, and see you around. Bye bye!

  3. What a great video Sara! But we have come to expect nothing less from you. I eagerly anticipate each new tutorial and also follow your adorable little son Felix. It seems as if I've actually met you, and yet we are many thousands of miles apart. Thanks so much for your uploads. I truly appreciate each and every one.

  4. Thankfully I'm well enough again to upload a video, just a couple of clicks, right? 🙂

  5. I work for Google as a software engineer, but it's totally unrelated to my YouTube stuff.

  6. Thank-you Sara for all the videos you produce! They bring much happiness to many. I love your new haircut.

  7. I love all of your videos Sara! If possible could you make a video on how to make a chocobo? I have folded the model but always have problems with the legs and feet. Any pointers?

  8. Good to see you looking well! Who said babies are good for your health?????…… Thanks for all the folding too 🙂

  10. What a gift, Sara! I found your video for the bear practical, easy to follow, and so friendly. I like that you talked about the design choices that the folds help accomplish along the way. I found myself using some of the hand motions in the folding that would never be possible with just a diagram. I don't know how you put so much joy and energy into the project but is a treasure.

  11. i was browsing origami-shop.com and came across " RING TAILED LEMUR" by Sara Adams but could not find it. Please help.

  12. Dear Sara, I have watched many of your tutorials and so has my wife. I recently saw a 5 intersecting tetrahedra {?} which was made like square tubes or rectangular tubes for sale. Have you seen this item. I may be interested in buying one so I can make one like it. Thanks for your help, Jim Harris
