Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 Full review Finally!

Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 Full review Finally!

Welcome to Clay Bridge productions and
behind me is the latest Wacom Cintiq pro 32 if you are a digital illustrator or
if you do animation or designing you must be familiar with the brand Wacom if
we talk about pen tablets digital pen tablets or monitor pen tablets Cintiq
pro 32 is I think it is the biggest one out there or one of the biggest ones and
now I have the chance to review this machine for you in this video but before
that let me give you a little introduction about the product insert
display monitor fan tablet it means that it has a monitor or a display which you
need to connect with your computer it doesn’t have a mind of its own that
means it doesn’t have a processor included in the box
however Wacom also provides a processor unit for this particular model which is
available separately so you can actually buy a CPU unit and fit tightly into the
Cintiq pro 32 at the back but today I connect the Cintiq pro 32 with my iMac
5k it’s really special there are only few number of display on monitor by
tablets in the market which have 4k resolution if I talk about my experience
with the Cintiq pro models i saw the biggest one in 2016 that was a Cintiq
row 24 which was kept in Comic Con and I had a chance to draw something and
scribble something on that screen and at that moment I felt that you know nothing
could be better than that machine but this is now the 32 model I am not used
to working on such huge displays the biggest one I have in my studio is a 22
inch canvas for 22 yeah that is a pretty big display but a 32 inch is I think
it’s going to be difficult to fit on my desk opening this box and bringing stuff
out is going to be really hectic if I’m doing it alone and
I’m doing it alone let’s do this let’s try it that way whoo Wow
so brand-new product this is installation guide it’s a pictorial
representation of how you need to install the product how you need to set
it up on your table it’s all here the upper part of this box it’s a protection
cover and has all these wires okay now this is the huge challenge to pull this
thing out without damaging it because I don’t want to drop this thing they’re
super expensive yeah pretty smooth a few months back Wacom had sent me a Cintiq
pro 32 earlier and that unit was already unboxed but this unit is completely
brand new and I’m the first person opening it this is a really special
feeling I can tell you that it’s like buying a new car having something like
this is much more special than buying a car Wow so edit and there are two legs
although the full body of the display is made out of plastic this is all plastic
but this is really nice premium good quality plastic you can’t really
questioning about the rigidity and the premiumness of it this is hard and this
is going to be there for a lot of years nothing is going to happen unless you
drop it the next step is setting this target on my desk and for that I need to
clear all this stuff out because you know this is a 32 inch thing and it
needs huge space I think I think I have to place it just like this on my desk
with these legs open because I haven’t been provided her and I’ll go draw on
arms with this thing we’ll have to work it out this thing is really heavy so I
had to be extra careful while lifting it like I told you earlier I’m going to
connect the Cintiq Pro 32 with my iMac through a USBC cable you can also
connect it with your computer through HDMI cable and also display ports to
make the propane to function properly I also had to connect the USB cable so
inside the box you get a lot of material with the drawing outlet itself the first
thing is the pen it is the Wacom Pro pen – this is the latest technology Wacom
has come up with and it’s quite stylish it is slim and it is quite economic not
heavy at all it has 8192 pressure levels and this is quite standard these days
and I don’t think we need more than that there are two buttons on the pen which
are quite sturdy and they are customisable next up is a stand which
can be used to place the pen and it also holds extra ten nibs inside it it is
quite grippy and it doesn’t slip much when you keep it on the desk also it has
a matte finish on it and it goes with the overall styling of the product next
up we have this precious and expensive accessory from
Wacom Wacom remote for the Cintiq 32 I think it is also compatible or available
for other sin Peaks like Cintiq 24 or 16 as well this remote is I think it has
more than 18 buttons on it 18 plus buttons and all of them are completely
customizable you can customize them inside the Wacom driver or the Wacom
software that you can download from the Wacom dot-coms official website this
remote is magnetic in nature so that you can place it anywhere on on the screen
it will stick there and it won’t move much I think the best place to keep the
remote is on the side bezels of the tablet this is battery-operated and
there is also a charger cable inside the box apart from that we have a power
adapter it looks like a brick and it has to be connected with another wire for
power supply there is one USBC cable available in the inside box and there is
one HDMI cable as well and there is one USB connector cable as well to make your
pen work the small addition they have done inside the box is the hdmi to
DisplayPort converter which is a surprise anyways I’m going to connect
this tablet with my iMac through a USB c-type only the overall design and the
styling of the product is premium it has matte finish all around from the pen to
the pen holder and the tablet itself even the remote these are completely
matte in finish there are some touch buttons on the top right of the display
they serve different functions like one of them is for the settings another is
for the on-screen keyboard the first touch button is to switch display 1 & 2
one thing I really want to mention about the product is that you can use it as
your secondary monitor I can drag my stuff from one screen to another screen
without any hesitation and I can use this monitor as my secondary or second
monitor I was not able to do the same thing with my previous pen tablets but I
think it is a common feature among the Cintiq pros models
results on this pen tablets are huge and they have been get that way for a reason
you can’t do illustration and drawing by keeping your hand holding in thin air
you will have to place your hand somewhere like on the edge here or maybe
here when you are drawing at the bottom of the screen next I want to talk about
the display or the screen this is a 32 inch screen and the resolution is 4k and
it is pretty justified because this huge display can not be with the lower
resolution because this is not a television this is a drawing tablet so
whenever we are making our beanie we will have to look very closely and
keenly inside the screen that’s why the resolution has been kept to a larger
number which is 4k it is pretty hard to find pixels even when you look closely
beautiful over the screen there is a very thin glass this is I think edged
glass of something match touch this is not glossy one more thing about this
edge glass which I have just read on welcomes official website is that this
edge glass is much thinner than before and it also helps in the regeneration of
colors this is all theoretical language but we’ll have to test how this thing is
performing in the real life and I can tell you only after doing something on
this because I don’t have a stand I think I’ll have to stand myself up in
order to make use of this full area in terms of color accuracy it is 99% adobe
RGB which is the highest of all in the class of Mondamin tablets in this
department of color regeneration and color accuracy Wacom Cintiq Pro Series
excels I just love the color regeneration on this one and I can
completely Bank on this display if I am working on a project related to color
accuracy or color correction in a video or something the full 32 inch display is
touchscreen as well so you can use the touchscreen for zoom in or out or for
rotation and also for usual computer tasks like opening and closing a folder
or something but I have to mention here that it’s not as good as your cell phone
screen I mean yeah it is responsive but it is not as crisp and as good as you
know normal touchscreens if you ask me personally I would rather not use a
touchscreen because it’s it’s a bit glitchy and also it it takes a lot of
effort to get the perfect thing I mean if you have to rotate the canvas you can
rotate it but if you want to bring it back to the default like the zero Degree
it’s really difficult to do that and it also happens with the remote as well if
you are using the keys for Photoshop shortcuts like brushes and for eraser
and other tools it works perfectly but if you are using the scroller which is
the touchpad basically for zooming and for rotation it works but it doesn’t
work as smooth as it could be which is not very satisfying and for zooming and
for increasing my brush size I would prefer using keyboard shortcuts or you
can also use simple buttons on the remote rather than using the touch
scroll bar so this is the most important part of the whole package is the pen and
the responsiveness of the pen with the screen the pen is of course it’s battery
less and rear end of the pen acts as an eraser I am NOT going to jump into
really high details I can tell you that it has 8,192 pressure levels so if you
make a quick stroke on the canvas the stroke will follow the pen very quickly
it won’t fall behind I think that’s the thing which deals with the
responsiveness of the screen with a parallax I think most of people define
parallax as the distance between the pen and the actual screen beneath the h2
glass and some of them describe parallax as the shift between the actual pointer
and the nib of the pen if I talk about the distance between the actual screen
and the h2 glass it is there the etch glass is not super thin so you will find
a little bit of gap between your actual pen and whatever you are drawing
underneath it the surface of the screen is not glossy it gives you a feeling of
like on a paper not exactly as rough as paper
but somewhere in between a glossy screen and a paper and this point I realized
that it was quite difficult to work on Cintiq Pro 32 while standing I mean you
have to have a Naga Tron if you want to work for hours nowadays a lot of people
are concerned with whether The Strokes are wavy while drawing in the diagonal
mode and that’s what I’m trying to do here
I also took help of a sheet of paper to make some straight lines and there was
no very nasur jaggedness this pro pen – it also has tilt function feature and it
has been there with Wacom pens like I told you before this tilt functionality
is useful for those who like to work like a proper traditional artist to
create certain effects and shapes like pencil and charcoal you can make use of
this tilt functionality but in functionality works properly I would say
it’s 90% accurate because it’s still a digital medium so it can’t really match
the accuracy of a traditional pencil or a charcoal but still the tilt
functionality is best in the class you can use it during your professional
projects like illustrations and creating certain textures in animations just like
the buttons on the remote and the remote itself the pen is also customizable to
buttons which are present on the pen you can customize their click functions in
the vacuums driver you can also adjust the pressure sensitivity of the pen
according to your own comfort level the Wacom driver also lets you do some other
things like adjusting the brightness and the contrast of the main display the 32
inch 4k display you can change the color tone and the gamma as well I like to
keep it at the 80% brightness level which is a little amplified but I like
to work on a brighter screen because I really look forward to match this
green brightness with the IMAX screen which is really really bright one more a
beautiful aspect of the machine is that the corners the corners are also as
active as the middle screen I mean being a very big sized display pen tablet it
is really difficult to keep the corners as accurate as the middle part of the
screen I know this might sound a little stupid but it happens I have been
testing machines and this is a common feature that I always try to find
whenever I am reviewing a new machine so at this time I was trying to make a
quick artwork it can give you a rough idea of how this thing actually performs
as I told you this is like still new to me to work on such a big screen and it
was good and at the same time it was overwhelming I tried using different
brushes and it never lagged I mean even with the high definition brushes I found
no such kind of flag this machine is full of surprises and I felt that after
looking around it and what I found was a 3.5 mm audio jack for USB 3 ports and a
memory card reader this is going to be 4.9 out of 5
actually it was not that much difficult to give that highest score with this
machine because this is most premium top-of-the-line product from Wacom I
gave it 4.9 not only because this is the most expensive one but because the
quality the quality the premiumness is there it is not that I’m just talking
about it the product reflects the kind of craftsmanship and dedication that you
know Wacom has shown into this product but of course like I always say that
nothing is perfect you have to buy something like an argotron
or another expensive equipment like a stand or something to raise it up just
like I told you in the video but if you are using it by standing like I did in
my video there is no such problem but I believe that be artists we like to be in
our comfort zone and create artworks and illustrations while sitting and sipping
our coffee I would suggest that go for a good frown or something and those are
good ron’s and those stands are not coming cheap they are premium like the
product itself I won’t deny that if I had the money I would definitely go for
the product actually it is one of my aspirations and I think maybe next year
I’m going to there will be several other videos where I’ll be making artworks and
you know animations by using this indie pro 32 if I talk about the Cintiq pro
lineup from Wacom the first thought which comes to our mind is that they are
going to be expensive and that’s not completely false but I want to tell you
that if you are looking forward to by a city pro then you don’t have to go for
the biggest one even if you are a professional you can also go for Cindy
pro 16 and 20 pro 24 they are as good as this one maybe a little lesser but they
are like 99.9% the same product they are just smaller in size also if you are
looking forward to buy more affordable machines you can also look forward to
what comes Cindy series not the Cintiq pro series the last Wacom tablet I
tested on my channel was a Cintiq 16 which is I think quite affordable if I
compare it to Cintiq Pro 16 so if you have any question or any kind of
a suggestion you can write in the comment section it is always open for
you if you like this video you can hit the
like button and you can also share this video whoever is looking forward to buy
a Cintiq pro 32 or any other Cintiq model the most important thing is if you
haven’t subscribed to my channel please subscribe it and also hit the bell icon
so that you will get the notifications whenever I upload new videos you
