Tutorial Album con Bolsillos Fácil | DIY Scrapbook | Scrapbooking Luisa PaperCrafts

Hello guys! Today we will make a mini album with pockets I will use scrapbook paper from Prima Marketing In the description box below you’ll find the name of this paper pad I also have black letter size cardstock The first thing that I’m going to do is take 6 sheets of the black cardstock cut them at 6 3/4″ by 6 3/4″ score all the pieces at 6 1/4″ rotate it score again at 6 1/4″ cut the corners of the flaps diagonally fold the flaps and here we have this piece done we only fold on two sides of the cardstock I have it in this white sheet to appreciate it a little better I have all the six pieces done I’ll put them aside because I will be using them Let’s make the first page cut it at 6 3/4″ vertically score it at 6 1/4″ rotate it and score at 6 1/4″ again fold it cut this corner diagonally we’ll remove the upper flap fold the tab inwards now fold up take this corner and fold it down Here I am going to make a diagonal fold I repeat it fold the tab inwards fold up and fold diagonally I have it in this white sheet to appreciate better fold the tab inwards fold up then fold down to have like a triangle now add the scrapbook paper I inked all the edges of the scrapbook paper I’m using glue stick and white liquid glue now close the pockets put adhesive on the tab also in this side of the triangle now take one of the six pieces that we let aside put adhesive on the tab put adhesive on the other tab and close the binding will be in this side so we have one big pocket another pocket and a smaller one we have the first page done The second page score at 6 1/4″ rotate it and score again at 6 1/4″ return it to the first position and score at 6 3/4″ but just until you find the other score mark fold up make a mark with a pencil where the part that we fold comes cut on the line of 6 1/4″ until the mark that we made with the pencil and another cut on the line of 6 3/4″ cut until the line we made to fold and in that line we will make another cut let’s make the tab this is the result fold the tab inwards fold up fold this part to the left I have it in white to appreciate better fold the tab inwards then fold up and fold to the left Here I already have it with the scrapbook paper just add the adhesive to close the pockets take the second of the six pieces that we let aside look where you want the opening for binding put adhesive on the tabs to close this page now we have one pocket a bigger one and a side pocket here we have our second page done Let’s make the third page put the sheet in landscape mode and cut at 6 3/4″ put the sheet with the measurement of 8 1/2″ horizontally score at 6 1/4″ rotate it and score again at 6 1/4″ cut remove the upper part of the tab This will be an easy page fold the tab inwards and fold up now put the decorated paper close the pocket put the back piece Here we have a little pocket and a bigger one Now let’s make the fourth page This page will be similar to the third one The only difference is the position of the pocket Instead of a pocket on the bottom, it will be a side pocket put the decorated paper I’m going to rotate the back piece because I want the opening for the binding in this side put adhesive on the tabs and close This is what we have at this moment the first page, the second one, the third one and the fourth one Now let’s make the fifth page Put the cardstock vertically and cut at 6 3/4″ now put it in landscape mode and score at 6 1/4″ and 8 5/8″ rotate it and score at 6 1/4″ what we’ll need is the middle tab remove the rest of the tab fold the tab inwards fold up fold down in this last part I”ll make a pencil mark at 3″ by measuring from the bottom edge cut diagonally If you see that there is a little left, simply cut it I have it in a white sheet fold the tab inwards fold up and fold down put the decorated paper close the pockets put the back piece Here we have our bigger pocket a small one and a side pocket the fifth page is ready The sixth page will be so easy just cut a square of 6 1/4″ by 6 1/4″ put the decorated paper put the back piece Now we have our six pages ready Let’s make the binding put the cardstock vertically and cut at 6 1/4″ because it’s the length that my pages measure I’m going to use the binding: Stack The Deck by Laura Deninson The tab where my page will be stuck will measure 1/2 ” the space between the pages will be 1/4 ” now the next tab for the next page I’ll measure 1/2″ more my first binding piece the smallest one measures 1 1/4″ by 6 1/4″ score at 1/2″ and 7/8″ or score at 1/2″ rotate it 180 degrees and score again at 1/2″ Now we only need to add 1/2″ more for the other pieces if the first piece measures 1 1/4″ the second one will measure 1 3/4″ and the third one will measure 2 1/4″ score at 1/2″ rotate it 180 degrees score again at 1/2″ do the same with the next one score at 1/2″ rotate it and score again at 1/2″ The measurements of the three pieces are appearing on the screen I have a video of this kind of binding. You’ll find the link in the description box cut the corners diagonally Now Let’s put all pieces together glue the small piece on the medium piece Trying to put it centered glue these two pieces on the biggest one trying to put it centered the binding is ready now we need to get the measurement of the spine fold and put the tabs up This measures 1 1/4″ add 1/2″ more Here I have my pieces of cardboard I cut the pieces bigger than the pages the front and back cover measure 6 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ and the spine measures 6 1/2″ by 1 3/4″ Now we have to cover the covers I didn’t record that step because I have a video where I show you how I make it Now glue the binding on the spine try to put it centered when we have it in the middle, we press you can use a bone folder to be well set Here I have my six pages ready but I decided to change the order I played a little bit with that when I already have it as I like I’ll glue all the pages to the binding put adhesive on the tab glue the page continue with the next tab the next page in this page I forgot to close a pocket I’ll do the same with the rest of the pages The tags that I’ll put inside the bigger pockets measure 6″ by 5 1/2″ we’ll need 6 of them and for the smaller pockets I’ll use the leftovers of cardstock Here I have the album finished I added a frame, lace on the spine, a paper flower and maybe I’ll add some pearls I put eyelets on the tags only to the biggest ones I didn’t put decorated paper on the back of the tags but you can put it or you can put cardstock in light color to write the story If you liked this video please give me a thumbs up, share this video and subscribe if you haven’t done remember to activate the bell to receive a notification when I upload a new video Thanks so much for watching. Until next time.
