Tidy Up Paper and Files

Tidy Up Paper and Files

Today is Tidy Up Tuesday and let’s talk
paper and filing! What to keep, what to toss and what to file. I want to remind
you that 80 and 90% of what you tend to think you’re going to file, doesn’t
need to be kept or filed. I’m Joan Silva your Tidy Up Gal, Queen of Clean and I
love helping you discover the joys of tidying up.
Today’s tip- put it in a container. Don’t leave it stacked and all different piles
and corners of your house, on the table on the counter, on the desk top, in some
drawer. Put it in a single container with edges and notice there’s depth to this
box. The bottom and the top. That’s significant because you want a visual
cue when it’s filling up. And I would suggest most of you not pick a box quite
this deep. I tend to get a little annoyed with it when it gets about half full. You
might want to use a nicer looking basket with a little less depth, so that it
cues you, visually cues you, to file sooner and not let it stack up. So that’s
the Tidy Up Tip today. You want to have it contained all in one place with a
height to give you a visual cue. I’m Joan Silva. You can reach me at [email protected] I’m your Tidy Up Gal and each Tuesday is another Tidy Up
Tuesday idea or concept. Happy tidying!
