When we came back, it was horrible, horrible for everybody. It’s hard to talk about it. The police department got flooded, the fire department for flooded out, EMS was working out of a house on 11th Street. My son plays baseball, so that has a major impact on our family. For the fire department, when I drive past a lot daily, it’s still sad to see that it’s torn and kind of damaged. We’re looking for no more hurricanes. I don’t know that we could take another one right away. But things are really looking better, and everyone’s kind of excited about summer. People aren’t depressed, they’re driven to come back after Harvey and that’s been there since the start. The city as a whole has a good sprit, and they’re going to make it back.
