Studio Decoupage Tutorial Mixed Media Canvas ~ Beauty is in the little things

Make sure your MDF Frame is already Gesso I am using Stamperia Heavy Body Paste because it gives harder and more “body” Using lace ribbon as stencil to create texture Try not to pull the lace. Use masking tape so they don’t move I am using Stamper Rice Paper Bird Cage in DFSA4244 With Bird Cage Stencil (one of my favorite) Tear the rice paper, this is easier and gives natural finish Using Stamperia Aqua Spray in Leather, Turquoise and Gold Use a spouncer to even out the color Use Stamperia Aqua Color in Turquoise I don’t let the color dry before applying new color because I want to blend them when they are wet. It creates new shade Another favorite stencil of mine is KSG354 also by Stamperia Using Aqua Color in Leather with the stencil Using Beauty is in little thing stencil KSD257 A journal is not complete without sentiment I am using Stamperia Heavy Body Paste I really like Stamperia stencil. Even though it’s thin it doesn’t move when applying with paste I am gluing using Americana Decoupage Glue in Matte Try not to apply too much glue at a time if your paper is big. Smooth it out from above from smaller area Dry with heat gun or hair dryer Using the Bird Cage Stencil with Heavy Body Paste Using Stamperia Aqua Color in Turquoise Because aqua color spray contain resin, It often blocks the nozzle spray so I took out the paint from the bottle directly Spray some Aqua Color in Leather Spray some water to dilute the spray so it blends in Dry with heat gun before the aqua color completely dissolve in to the media Using Aqua Color in Mahogany Using Americana Acrylic Paint in Titanium White I am coloring the petals to add more dramatic effect Now I am using Deco Art Heavy Gel Medium Stencil TCW in 4 Feather I want to create some Glossy layer but I want my first layer to still be showing When it dries it will turn clear Using Stamperia Aqua Color in Gold Covering the flowers so it won’t get spray. I am using baking sheet I am giving the Feather some Gold Sprakle Color Using Patina Anticante Metallic Wax in Rame (Copper) also from Stamperia Color all around the border edge I am sorry it’s a bit dark. My brother is borrowing my lamp I am using Americana Triple Thick Glaze I am applying it onto some flower petal. It will be very nice finishing touch I don’t like applying with brush. But if it’s your first time use brush so they don’t go all over the place See ? the part with Triple Thick Glaze is shiny and glassy Thank you for watching and give me thumbs up if you like this video
