Student Designs T-shirt for Classmates

COMPLETED BY EARLY SEPTEMBER. IT WAS A SEA OF COLOR AT MADISON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TODAY… AS STUDENT SPORTED A NEW T-SHIRT DESIGNED BY ONE OF THEIR CLASSMATES. AND IT WAS ALL TO ENCOURAGE AN IMPORTANT LIFE SKILL — READING! THE STUDENTS EARNED THE T- SHIRTS AFTER PARTICIPATING IN A READING PROGRAM CALLED “READ TO LEAD”. AND TO CELEBRATE THE ACCOMPLISHMENT AND THE END OF THE YEAR… STUDENTS GOT TO GO TO THE WAHPTON ZOO. THE SCHOOL OFFERED AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A LITTLE FRIENDLY COMPETITION… HAVING STUDENTS COME UP WITH A T-SHIRT DESIGN FOR THE FUN DAY. “IT WAS KIND OF LIKE A COMPETITION LIKE EVERYONE WOULD WRITE THEIR IDEA ON A PIECE OF PAPER WITH A T-SHIRT AND THE OFFICERS WOULD PICK THE BEST ONE THAT THEY LIKE AND THEY WOULD DESIGN IT AND THEY ALL WOULD GET DIFFERENT KINDS OF COLORS. THE T-SHIRTS WERE FUNDED BY MADISON P-T-A.
