Hey everyone I’m Abha and this is a DIY tutorial by Abha Singhal today we make a pull and reveal greeting card It has a cute puppy face in the front and ample writing space inside. The tongue says “pull me” on pulling which the ears perk up. This is a very easy technique and it involves just assembling a few parts together in the correct order. What we need to make this card is- coloured sheets, scissors, ruler, marker, pencil, eraser and glue. It is better to cut out all the pieces first. First piece we need is a A4 size sheet folded in half, as the card. This second piece is just a little bigger than half the size of the A4 size sheet because it has 2cm panels on each side which we will have to paste on our card. This sheet will form the face of the card. All the other pieces that we have cut out will form the puppy on the face of the card. This is the face of the puppy. This is the body. I have used 2 colours but you can use a single colour also. This piece will form the tummy patch of the puppy. Make sure there is a small flap on top of the face part. This is the eye patch. Then we have 2 eyes, and a nose. First of all, we will paste all these parts on the face of our card. It looks like this, we’ve made the eyes with a marker. We also pasted the ear patches and the tongue. This will go on the back of the face. Just make sure that the size is alright. Before fixing* it, put it in the front and measure where you need to put the slit for the tongue to come out. Make a very light marking. Now just join the 2 dots with a smile like arc and slit it neatly with a cutter. Insert the tongue from behind the slit and make sure it moves easily. Make good creases in the ears so that they remain down when you do not pull the tongue. Now let us paste the face of the card with help of these 2 panels on the base of the card. Now fold the panel we left above the face and paste it inside the card. Check if it works alright and your card is ready.
