Pokémon Origami Crafts – How to Fold Origami Pikachu Pokémon Go – Easy Origami Instructions for Kids

Hello my crafty friends! I’m
Jenny from Origami Tree and today I’m going to show you how to make this simple Origami
Pikachu. But before we begin, be sure to leave a comment letting me know what you’ll like
to see next. And let’s jump right in! To make this very simple Origami Pikachu, you’re going
to need a square sheet of paper. This is a 3 inch square. You’ll also need a red and
a black marker. First you’re going to fold your square sheet of paper in half diagonally
so that it creates a triangle shape. After that, take the bottom side and fold it upwards
about 1.5 cm. Crease it in. And next you’re going to take this bottom right-hand corner
and you’re going to fold it upwards diagonally so that this point matches this point. And
now you’re not going to crease it in, but instead, you’re going to draw it outwards
about – you know – 30 degrees or so. Like this. And then crease it in. And this creates
the angle of Origami Pikachu’s ear. After that, you want to repeat the same thing on
the left side, so you’re going to draw it diagonally like this. Bring it up. Move it
outwards towards the left so that it’s around the same size. And then crease it in. After
that, you want to create the angle of Origami Pikachu’s ear to make it a little bit sharper,
so you’re going to align this side with this side. And you’re going to fold it diagonally
to create this sharp point at the right side. Next you want to repeat the same thing on
the left side, so you’re going to align this side with this side. Crease it in to make
a sharp point. And then flip it around. And next what you want to do is you want to take
this top tip and you’re going to fold it down to create a curve on Origami Pikachu’s
forehead. Then you’re going to fold in the right and left sides. And finally you’re going
to take this bottom side and fold it back to create Origami Pikachu’s chin. And once
you’ve done that, you’re read to decorate! (Music) And you’re done! Thank you so much
for watching. Be sure to hit the “subscribe” button right over there. I post new videos

  1. Hi Jenny. I would like to suggest a few ideas for you to make next. A pug or a different breed of dog would be great but if you have already made that then another idea could be a swan, car or boat. I hope that you will consider these ideas. Thanks 😀

  6. Origami Camera…my 4th gradestudents in Mexico city made one years ago, and I was so surprised by the cleverness of it. You could click, it and put in a removable little drawing that served as the "photo". Never have seen one since then. Can you make one?

  7. You made my day. My granddaughter, Kendal, in TN is addicted to Pikachu and Sailor Moon. This is the perfect gift tag for the new game I'm sending her this year. Thanks!
