Hello, and Welcome to our Origami Boat instructions video! So for this boat, you’ll start with a rectangular piece of paper, not a square. Eight-and-a-half by eleven inch printed paper will work. You want to fold in half horizontally as shown. Then make a nice crease at the top. Next your gonna partially fold this in half. So go left to right, or right to left will work as
well. And now what you’re going to do is crease the top portion of this In this case, one or two inches, about a third of the edge of the paper, as we’re showing here. Next unfold it. Now you’ll fold both the left and right corners to the center, as shown here. The crease-line we made in the previous step will be our guide. Crease these edges well. Then for the next step We’ll fold the bottom part of the upper flap upwards. Again crease this well. Now flip the piece over, and repeat that
fold on the back side. Alright, now you want to get a finger or thumb
inside the pieces, and make a squash fold, so refold it as shown, and squash it flat. and now you are you going to have a couple
of flaps here that you’re going to need to tuck in, front and back. So squash that flat and crease it. Now fold the bottom corner up, as we’re showing here. Now flip the piece over, and repeat on the backside. Again stick your finger in the middle and open it up. Squash fold again like we’re showing here. Now hold on to the left and right upper layers and pull away from the center like this and unfold the boat. Shape it a bit with your fingers. And that’s it, your Origami Boat is complete! Now go find some water to float it on. Have Fun!
