Hello, and welcome to our our Origami Azalea Video. The Azalea is made from two pieces of origami paper. So start with the first piece color side up. Make a valley fold along the east-west line as we’re
showing here. Make a nice sharp crease Then unfold the paper. Now take the second piece of paper, also color side up. This time make a valley fold along the diagonal and also crease that well. Now unfold that, and take the first piece of
paper and overlap the valley folds as we’re showing. Now fold both pieces of paper together like this. Now we’re going to take this corner of the first piece and fold it over So both layers Next we’re gonna take this corner, and make a perpendicular line fold here; so fold this over so there’s a ninety-degree angle with the bottom
edge. And unfold that. Next we’re gonna make a fold along this line. So fold this piece over. And that last crease we made should line up with the left edge of the paper, because we’re going to tuck that fold in like this, then complete the fold and crease. Okay, now we just need to get one finger
inside the flower and start expanding it. So open up your Azalea and start to flatten it and open it as we’re showing here. Okay. Once it’s able to stay open on its own, you will need to curl over the tips of the Azalea with a pen or something similar. Make a curling motion like we’re showing here. And there you have it, your Origami Azalea is complete. Enjoy!
