IT WILL BE 1.5% IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY AND ONE AND A HALF PERCENT ELSEWHERE THROUGHOUT THE STATE. IT IS CALCULATED BY MULTIPLYING 25% OF ALL RETAIL SALES BY THE LOCAL SALES TAX WHICH IS 7% IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY. THERE ARE 33 MICROBREWERIES IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY SO THESE LITTLE GUYS, IT’S GOING TO PUT ANOTHER CHARGE ON TOP THAT THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY OR PASS ON, IT’S NOT FAIR.
