Now I’m using a designer series paper called
Afternoon Tea to go with this, but you can chose like I said anything you want there.
What I’m going to do is go ahead and chose the outside and the back pieces of the purse
so I need to cut that. What I’ve done to get that measurement is I’ve just measured my
envelope and it’s six inches and I’m going to want a quarter inch border so I’m going
to make both of these pieces of paper five and three quarters by five and three quarters.
So five and three quarters by five and three quarters. I’m making the front and purse of
the same paper. You can choose what you want there. So once you get those cut you need
to cut the inside pieces. On the inside pieces I’m also going to double mount which means
that I’m going to have a piece of solid card stock and then mount the designer series paper
on top. So again, I’ve taken that measurement and I’m going to make this one five and a
half by five and a half of my solid color paper and then my designer series paper would
be just a quarter inch less than that, so five and a quarter by five and a quarter.
And, I’m going to need one for the inside pocket on the right side. One for the pocket
on the left side. Then for the last piece of paper that you’ll need to cut, I’m going
to need to cover this middle place and that is six by six again. So I’m going to make
that paper five and three quarters by five and three quarters. This time I chose to use
a coordinating paper for the middle. So now we have all of our paper cut and ready to
go. We can start with the assembly.
