Kinetic Sand In Colors Review | EpicReviewGuys in 4k CC

– Hi, it’s Parris from Epic Review Guys here with my sand testing assistants. Today we’re comparing the original sand-colored kinetic sand to the latest from Michael’s, colored kinetic sand. ♫ Epic Review Guys ♫ We were very excited to see this new product at Michael’s. This is the kinetic sand
that you know and love and now it comes in six different colors. We picked blue. Now this box is a smaller package of the kinetic sand that we got in our original box, this is just one pound exactly. So we’re gonna open it up and see how much that is, if it’s enough to really play with. Our original box was two pounds of sand, this goes for about $13, and we’ll put a link down below this video if you’d like to check it out online. Now the original kinetic
sand came in this box. When you take it out, it’s this much sand. We got a big glass tray here to play with for this. This is about $17 for just over two pounds of sand, $13 for one pound of sand, but it’s got color. We’ve got a little smaller glass tray we’re gonna use to play with this. Now you would think after all the traveling we’ve done over the past couple of weeks, if you’ve been watching our videos, we basically went down the west coast, from Seattle to central California, and we stopped and saw
a number of beaches, we’d be tired of sand, but no, sand is always fun. What gets tiring is cleaning it out of your clothes, out of your car, out of your hair, takes three shampoos to
get all the sand out, so this is a way to play with the sand and have fun without having all the mess. Here’s the package you get in the box of the new colored kinetic sand and here’s the amount you get with the original kinetic sand. Now both of these sands are the same, they’re made by the same company in Sweden but they’re basically packaged and sold under different names. This one is sold under Michael’s name specifically. Let’s see what if feels like. You wanna get a hand in there so you can see what this feels like? It’s all kind of chunky, I remember the other one being more soft. How does it feel compared
to the other one? – It feels a little… I guess you just need to work it a little bit at first but at the first touch, it feels a little doughy. – Doughy or clumpy, that’s how it looks, a little different than the other sand. Here’s the Michael’s colored kinetic sand, let’s give it a try. Seems to do the same kind of drooping and and running and flowing thing but more slowly than I
remember the other sand. We’ll do a direct comparison here shortly. What do you think? – It feels like the other sand, except clumpier. Probably because it
has been in the package for a long time. – Well it doesn’t stick at all to my hand, so it’s good and easy for cleanup just like the other kinetic sand. So I’m gonna try a direct comparison, a hand full of each and see which one runs out of my hand faster. There’s the blue, the original, gonna squeeze the same amount into a shape, hold the shape up. Maybe I was wrong, they seem to run about the same speed. – It has the same feeling
that the blue sand has. – [Parris] You think it
feels exactly the same? The coloring hasn’t changed it? And that’s possible, the coloring may just be a simply matter of adding some dye to the sand particles, what do you think? – I think it’s about the same. – [Parris] So if you like
the original kinetic sand, if you haven’t seen our previous video, I’ll put up a link here, but look at that doughyness, it’s full of air, it’s fun to play with and amazing and relaxing. You guys find it relaxing? – [Roxanne and Ximena] Yeah! – [Parris] Well, the new color one will be just as relaxing. – [Ximena] I like to just let the sand run through my hands. It’s nice, and I also like to let it go, flop, flop, flop. It’s funny. – [Parris] Okay, so whatcha got there? – [Roxanna] Well, the best tardis that I was able to make with kinetic sand. – [Parris] Good, it’s standing up, I think it may be cracking apart slowly, but good. By the way, I did notice here in the corner of the video you can see we got our helium tank out, I found that in a closet. We used that in a video last year, and we are going to do another Wubble Bubble review with the helium and try not to have it
float off into space. So be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for that. So that’s the new colored kinetic sand. You guys both think it’s pretty cool? – [Roxanna and Ximena] Yeah! – They’re big fans of the kinetic sand so the colored one is
gonna be popular too. This is about $13 over at Michael’s, $17 dollars online, I’ll put a link to this
one down below too. With this one, you get two pounds of sand, so if you like more, this is obviously a better deal for a big collection of it. Now, this is the artistic one in the family, and I understand you have a summer project you’re working on, what is that? – Yes, I am going to make the tardis out of bubble gum. – Tardis out of bubble gum! So that’s her project, when she gets that done we’ll make sure to
include that in a video, and I see you’ve over here making something nice as well. – A handprint with a smiley face in it. – Alright! Kinetic sand, in color! ♫ Shopping is easy ♫ When you know what to buy ♫ At Epic Review Guys ♫ Who give it a try ♫ What does the fox buy ♫ Nobody knows ♫ But before he goes shopping ♫ He watches our videos ♫
