The capital of Ukraine, Kiev,… is holding
a festival for Korea’s traditional paper, Hanji. Organized by the Korea Intangible Heritage
Promotion Center, the event runs until Tuesday at Kiev’s Chocolate House to promote the excellence
of Korean paper and cross cultural encounters with Ukraine. There, visitors can see arts and crafts…
and runway shows where local models present clothes made of Hanji. Started in 2007, the Hanji festival has been
hosted worldwide in countries including the United States, Greece, Russia and Canada.
