paper click 2 Sheets of thin card together to stop the paper slipping when you cut out the shapes measure out the bunting shapes I discovered when I drew the first line that the bunting would be too short… so I remeasured and made the flags longer Cut out the bunting holding both sheets of card together Move the paper clips if the sheets start to slip out of line. Any Permanent marker will be okay to use for this part – Must not be water soluble as will run when we decorate in the next part Go over the Numbers with a black pencil crayon to define the numbers shape. I use Crayola as they are childrens pencils they are washable so when you apply a little bit of water it blends the numbers making it more defined I used reeves water colours for this but have used water soluble pencils before too. Pick 2 contrasting colours that when blended make a nice shade so blue and red=purple. Yellow and blue=greens Leave to dry and then flatten the paper a little as they curl up when drying I used Crayola metallic pencils as they are soft and easily draw over the top of the water colour Any pattern or doodle works here. I went with the mandala style The silver does not show up very well on camera but looks great in real life when the light reflects off it. Fold the tops over Lay down in reverse order so the 8 will be on your left and the 2 on your right. Any string or wool will be fine Stick tape is the best so the string doesn’t stick and you can move your flags for styling up and down the string Now hang up
