How to Make Unique Handmade Arts & Crafts : Handmade Tin Can Craft Project

Hi Melody again on behalf of Expert Village
I’m going to show you how to put a transfer onto a household item that would make it look
less boring. These are rub on transfers and I have chosen this design because there is
a longer one involved in it and I’m going to cut that piece out. You don’t have to,
you can just leave it where it is but I think I need to cut it so I don’t transfer part
of something else and waste it on just having it stuck to the wrong thing. It is rather
sticky on the back where my hand is holding underneath it is actually attaching itself
to my finger right now. I rather it not be transfer to my finger, these make great tattoos
for your children if you want a removable tattoo. Just rub on of these on your child.
There we go alright this is the one that we are going to put on and you place it where
you want it to go and I think that looks where about where I want it. Then these packages
come with a little rub on stick and you just start to rub over the picture so that it would
transfer onto the item that you want it to be on. It is a little bodging right there
and it would tell you it would make little crackling noises if there is air under there
just push them out and keep rubbing until your entire design has had pressure over it
which would transfer the actually design from the plastic clear plastic onto your item.
In a minute when you get ready to pull it you want to go very slowly and if it looks
like it has not attach it self you definitely want to stop and scrap on there again to put
some pressure on it. Now we are going to check our design and see it is not quiet going down
yet. You have to apply fairly amount of pressure as you could see my finger is really pushing
on this. Depends on what you are putting it on to also. This can was previously painted
and it may have a little bit of dust or dryness on it. I did wash it off first but you never
know just see this picture is starting to appear on the item. Especially when you got
little buds or little flowers or little lines be sure to go over them again as you can see
I’m actually pulling it and watching it if it doesn’t look like it is sticking I’m just
keeping it right up there close, ripping again because I want that design in total I want
it to be a complete design. So go really really slow and watch you are doing underneath. I’m
almost to the end almost there just a little tiny more just to make sure that it is there
and there we go a completed design. In our next segment I’m going to show you how to
use other items and make them attractive and something useful around the house and something
less boring then you started.

  7. @okdok
Because don't you love the feeling when you make something?
Besides if it's for a gift, it would be more special if you make it yourself.
Home made items are the best, better than store brought.

  8. yes it is a nice can and decal transfer but as far as the word home made? I never buy kits at craft stores, In fact I buy very little at craft stores. Years ago when t shirt painting was in style I was at a craft show where an older couple were selling jackets from sweatshirts and their own sponge stamps they created. I asked about the great durable washable paint. She said it was house paint! From that day on I have only ever bought house paint in white, black and primarys and mix my own colors

  9. Does This need an expert to do??
Do You see art in this??
When you buy these rubbish, you can read the instruction.
    just a waist of time
