How to make a Paper Rocket Launcher with Institute of Imagination

Welcome to the Imagination Lab. We’re
making paper rocket launchers with James First let’s make the rocket launcher. Push your pipe firmly into the top of the bottle add some tape like we did if it doesn’t fit perfectly. Now let’s make the rocket take your first sheet of paper and wrap it around the pipe to make your tube do this as tightly as you
can and tape along the edge take your second sheet of paper and wrap it over
the first sheet. This tube doesn’t need to be as tight it will be the body of
your rocket. It should slip on and off the pipe push the second sheet up about
a centimetre over the top of the pipe press down with your fingers to shape
the nose of your rocket and tape it down fold your final piece of paper in half
and cut a large triangle. This will be the wings of your rocket. Tape the top
and bottom of the triangle to the pipe make sure it is lined up nice and
straight so that it flies well now you’re ready to go
