Crafts for kids by the kids of Splash Youth Arts Workshop.org In this video I show you how to make a big paper flower out of tissue paper. And you can make one too. You will need tissue paper, scissors and string. Take 6 pieces of paper… Any colors you like. Stack papers on top of each other. Line up the corners. Next you have to make a paper fan. Make thin folds or pleats. Use the back of your nail to crease the pleats flat. Keep doing this until you finish. Make sure you smooth the paper as you go. Then fold to find the middle. Wrap or tie the middle with string or wire. Then cut both ends into a round shape. Cut around the tip like this…. See! A round shape. Carefully pull the fan open, Be carefull to not flatten out pleats or tear the paper. This is half of the flower. Do the other side. Pull the petals all the way up toward the middle of the flower. isn’t this beautiful. I’m a SPLASH kid and I’m 9 1/2 years old.
