How To Make A Barbecue Stick Glider ( Paper Glider )


MAKING THE MUSETA GLIDER ( Paper Glider ) Materials you need Download the free glider plans from museta.ro Print it on construction paper or thin cardboard Cut all the needed parts for the glider Fold the main wing together Cut the wing as shown in the video Bend the wing to create the airfoil wing shape Use the dotted line as a guide Now you should have a wing as shown Put some glue on the small rectangle piece Glue it to the wing to create the “V” wing shape Glue together the wing support parts Bend the small back wing same as you did with the main wing and create a “V” shape Cut a barbecue stick to the size you have in the printed plans Splice the stick at one end, as needed to insert the back wing ( plus 5mm extra ) Apply some glue to the wing Insert it in it’s place, leaving the 5mm of extra wood at the end of the stick Tie the end of the stick with thread until the glue dries Put more glue on both sides to reinforce the wing Cut the wing support, to match the final wing shape Now glue it exactly in the center of the wing Make sure it’s straight and let it dry. Later we are going to put more glue Mark the center of the popsicle stick Cut the stick in two equal parts Sand them and bring them to a nice shape With a cutter, cut the opening for the barbecue stick Now you should have two identical pieces as they are in the plan Glue them together really well, this part will take all the impacts Reinforce the main wing with more glue Glue the barbecue stick, to the opening made in the popsicle stick Carefully cut an opening to create the spot for the main wing Find the balance point of the stick and make a sign with a pen Let’s glue the main wing in it’s place Match the balance point of the stick, with the intersection of the printed dotted line and the center line of the wing YOUR GLIDER IT’S DONE, LET IT DRY THEN HAVE LOTS OF FUN FLYING IT If you balance it well you can get flights a lot better than what I’m showing here Don’t forget to like and subscribe Museta, Ideas for your home and family Follow me on social media
