How to Design an Electric Plan in 10 Seconds


hi everybody today I will show you how
to design electric plant in 10 seconds Eplan Cogineer has been developed to
automate documentation so imagine that you have a company which produce 200
machines every year and they are similar on the other hand you can have a company
that designs documentation with familiar projects for demonstration I created a
simple project which can be generated in 32,768 combinations this is the scheme
of the industrial mixer with the help of motor 1 we dose the substance to the
mixer then we have 2 necessary valves for filling and draining as you see this
project has multiple options we can additionally open a valve to dose a
water or mix a substance with motor three we can increase the outflow
pressure with motor two we can we have options to reject the substance we can
make bypass and so on then I also added some other options as
you can see we have options for main protection
power circuit breaker or safety switch then we have a choice of three
receptacles in our control cabinet let’s say we will choose two of them we have
options for light and transducer we will choose them then drives are
different Danfoss or Power Flex we’ll choose Danfoss drives and
our project will run first on with just two motors motor one and motor two then we have a PLC choice Allen Bradley or Siemens Simatic if we choose
Siemens Simatic we have even more chances for HMI we will
choose the first one and we will have a water and bypass valve
so now we will generate it now you can see that all data has been
generated and I need to mention that all data are
in correlation with the project so we’ll choose transducer it’s here and
other page two receptacles light and we also choose two motors as I said
everything is in correlation so we can check on the page 23 we have a inverter
of Danfoss and there is speed reference and feedback we can check the
feedback it’s here on the PLC
input here we can check also water feedback
and bypass without reject as we chose we have also PLC overview here
we can check everything and in the end we also have a 2d layout for demonstration I can make other choice let’s say we will make
three motors and motor 3 has even brake choice if we need it let’s take it and okay
Danfoss it’s okay we will generate it if you imagine that there is an order for
your company where your customer has a specific list of what he wants
that list can be given to your employee and he can just configure all
information into Eplan Cogineer so that’s in my opinion very very powerful
tool okay here you see everything which what we configured here
in project builder is in 2d panel transducer to receptacles and three
drives Danfoss drives now this project needs the reports we will simply generate them from these
templates we will generate all of them
so here now everything is here covered page I will just change some properties from plot frame name and cover page for cover page
I will use blank plot frame name so here we have
63 pages and as you can see with all reports see connections terminal diagram summarized part lists so that’s it if you
