Directional pruning and Results on Non Formal Tamarind Bonsai, बोनसाई इमली, Be the Creator, April 19

You may remember, in July last year …. a wild Tamarind tree has been … shaped as bonsai by me and …. transplanted in this pot I’ve grown it in this pot for last one year Today I’m going to do little trim on it The growth I’ve got should be controlled a little It’s growing nicely It’s time to new sprouts to come now This is the high time to control the growth The main trunk line which I’m making here …. has come in front of the trunk It has to be cut back So …. I’ll cut it from here This upwards going branch …. here also …. to get a authentic turn … I’ll use directional pruning method it here So that the branch direction would change as I wish I’ll trim each branch a little At first let me defoliate it a little So that we can see the branch structure clearly I’ll make half all the leaves Now every branch is visible I’ll cut it here If the branch tip is trimmed … then its growth can be controlled And you will get 2 or 3 sub branches there One thing you should remember before cut the branch … as an example take this branch One leaf is going towards this direction and another towards this …. cutting here you’ll get branches accordingly See this branch is going upwards ….. below this here is a shoot which is ….. going towards this direction …. if I’ll cut it from here then …. the growth instead of going upwards … will grow this way So I’ll …. cut it here … then this branch will get a turn and go in this direction Here …. this branch is … it has … come like this …. I’ll cut it back here Then what will happens? one branch will grow towards this and other towards this direction It’ll be better if I will … cut it here Now the new branch which will grow …. one will come towards this and other towards this direction Here is a shoot which is going towards this direction … I’ll … cut it here … and I’ll get two opposite direction branches A new growth I’m getting here What should I do with this? I don’t need any branch here If a similar growth I would get here in the back then … it’ll be better for me As I don’t want this, so … I pruned this I have trimmed all these growths. Now it’ll grow again …. Here is a dead wood here See after 15 days I’ve got all these new growths As I desired See you soon with a new episode … Till then Goodbye Thanks for watching
