Designer Series Paper Bag

Designer Series Paper Bag

thanks for joining me this is Angie
at chic n scratch this is the project we’re making today is an in acute bag
okay so the surprise you’re going to need to make this it’s pretty simple
we’re using a 12 x 12 piece of designer series paper this is the Bermuda Bay
color that’s in the bright collection of the designer series paper stack and then
we’re using win one piece of whisper white that measures for by two and
seven-eighths and then Bermuda Bay that is four and a quarter by three and eight
what we’ll do is go ahead and stamp our image I am going to be using the Stampin
Matt this is my photopolymer set and bermuda bay inc this is one of those
stamp sets it’s going to retire at the end of this catalog so that’s the end of
this month I think I got it end up well enough hopefully I do love being able to
see exactly where I’m stamping there we go and that pretty it’s a little bit
high maybe I’ll try it one more time let’s say it won’t hurt anything if I
stamp it again let’s see yeah that’s good okay so before we pop it up on to
the the piece of bermuda bay i’m going to add three rhinestones to two of the
corners just going to take my paper piercer here okay so one there while i’m
adding these i will let let you know that i will be on the Stampin Up
incentive trip for the next ten days and so I will not be available but my
assistant will be holding down the fort so if you need anything her email
address will be on my web right and also i’m going to be having a
12 day giveaway that means 12 days if you leave a comment you enter to win and
if you place an order you get double entries for every $25 I’m going to turn
this over oh I’m going to show you all the all 12 days I’m just going to show
you the container really quick here they are they’re all packaged up and ready so
all the details will be on my website 12 straight days so now I’m going to add
this to the Bermuda Bay okay I think I already said the stamps it is retiring
if I didn’t it is and that pretty okay now let’s take our 12 x 12 piece there’s
no cutting involved so we’re just going to get the simply scored scoring tool
place it on here now you’re going to score this at three and again three okay
so three and I’m going to turn it over and score it I could have gone over here
and scored it at nine sometimes if the paper doesn’t measure exactly 12 inches
then that escorted at three and nine doesn’t work so I like scoring at three
and then slipping it and coordinate three now in the opposite side we’re
going to score it at four and a half and I’m going to do the same thing turn it
and score it at four and a half okay we’re done with a simply scored scoring
tool now what you want to do is find where you scored at the three inch mark
and let’s see that would be this side okay so place well let’s go ahead and
fold it on the score lines that way it would be easier to find that three inch
mark okay now so our 3-inch score lines are
up here at the top what I’m going to do now is take this score line here and
fold it down to the score line here and then press and I’m going to do that on
all four sides so again over here you guys are saying so you mean make bags
like this usually in a much smaller size so this is no cutting it all with the
paper so I’ve listened to the request of making larger projects although I do
have several small ones lined up for June ok next we’re going to take the one
quarter inch handheld circle punch I can’t remember if this is on the
retirement list for some reason I wanted to say it was I don’t know it will be
posted on my website so you can find that list the PDF and the Excel
spreadsheet now we’re going to take the jute and if you’ve gotten the catalog and
you’ve seen the brand new catalogs that starts on june first you may have
already seen the stamp set called Bella and Friends that is acceptable I my 1
million dollar stamp set so and there’s skittles in there to stay tuned I’m
going to offer a little incentive for everyone that Porter’s Bella and friends
through me so that will be coming in june so I’m taking the Bermuda Bay
stitched ribbon love this stuff and tie them the jute this is such a beautiful
color not the best photo I’ve ever made but when I’m bowtie in when I’m in a
hurry it never works out okay so now we’re going to attach it with
dimensionals but I will tell you that because the insides are collapsed a
little bit when you put this on here you want to make sure that you put your
dimensionals on all four corners and then also write down here okay where’d I
put my dimensions here they are make sure this is in the right direction in
fact that can hear skittles upstairs she can hear me talking and she wants to be
with me okay so all we got to do is add this to the front see there you have it have a great day
thanks a lot bye
