Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to show you how to fold my new model, a very cute origami fox. You need a square piece of paper with a different color on each side. Start with the color on top and fold the square horizontally then unfold and fold the square vertically. Unfold and turn the model to the other side and fold the two diagonals. Unfold and fold the other diagonal. Unfold and fold all corners to the center. Then unfold and then bring this edge to the vertical axis, then fold the other edge. We’re going to bring this corner inside so open a little bit. Fold this again you Invert this fold, and fold back. And we will do the same thing for all the four corners then turn the model to the other side and fold back the two top tips to this point in the middle. Mark the fold well. Turn the model to the other side and fold the two corners. Mark the fold well. And now we’re going to do a fold like this. And when we fold like this this crease here will be parallel to the vertical axis. Fold like this and we bring this edge to this edge and this is going to be one ear for the fox and then we’ll bring this edge to this edge like this. Let me open to show where the folds are. And I will do the same thing for the other ear, so at the same level we fold here then we’ll bring this edge to this edge. And now we can close back this edge to this edge and mark the fold. Here we have the two back legs of the fox, and we’re going to fold this point to this point. Same thing for the other leg. And now we can flatten the head by folding back those folds here. So you should be able to flatten the model like this. So we can already see the head of our Fox. Turn the model to the other side, and now we fold this down to the center of the square. And you want to keep this folded. And then bring this corner and this corner together. Like this. So those are going to be the front legs of the fox. And of course, they won’t stay together. So what we will do to make them stay together is to put the corners together and so this is the tail. So open up a little bit the leg so that you can see. And in order to lock the legs, we will fold the tail in two, like this, and mark the fold well. You can put back the leg on it. And now the front legs stay together. And you have the back legs. You can spread them a little bit. So this is what I call my cute animal base. Because from this base you can make a lot of different animals, depending on how you fold the eyes, and the ears, and the tail, and the legs. So i’m going to show you one way to make the eyes of the fox. So we will take this tip and we’ll put it almost to the corner, like this. There are many different ways to do the eyes, so you can experiment. And then fold the other tip at the same level. Then we are going to open this pocket here, and flatten the pocket. So it’s going to make a square like this. And we want to show the white for the eyes, so we’ll fold the square in two. So now we have a white square. So you can make square eyes. And what you can do for a fox is to open this, and fold half of the square under, so that you get triangular eyes. So I’m going to do the same thing for the other eye. So unfold a little bit. Open the pocket, and flatten. Then folded the square in two so that we see the white. And open and fold back half of the square under . And mark the fold again so that the eyes stay close to the face. And this is your origami baby fox. It is a very cute fox. In the next videos I’m going to show you how to make other cute animals using the same base. So you can make dogs, cats, mice, even pigs. Depending on how you do the eyes, and the legs and the ears. I hope you enjoyed this origami fox. I will soon show you how to fold other animals from the same base. A mouse with big ears, a very cute kitten and different kinds of cats and even a pig. If you fold my models please send me pictures so that I can show them in the next video. And if you like my models please subscribe to my channel. Thank you very much and happy folding!
