BEST ORIGAMI PAPER JET – How to make a paper airplane that FLIES FAR | F-15 Strike Eagle

F15 and this is so windy here! I just try to see how it flies K, check it out Ok, just try it one more time! Welcome again to Paper Artland Today, I will so you how to make a paper airplane but which one I will show you? The F15 or the U.F.O Okay, according to the survey, Igot 29 votes for the F15 and 10 votes for the U.F.O So, we will not make the U.F.O today. the tutorial today will be for the F15 So, Let’s start now! To make the F15, you need a printing paper I’m using U.S letter size, and if you have A4 paper you should trim it down to letter size Alright, so let’s start now! First step, I will fold the paper almost in half I will show you guys in details how to fold it now Star from this edge, I fold it down slowly! and I we estimate about a quarter of an in (1/4in or 1/2cm) a long this edge. I will make a mark here. K, fold it down like this. It should be a bout 1/4in. No longer, no shorter. If you make it longer than 1/4in, you are actually making the F14 If you are interested in making the F14, you can fold it that way! Now, I will turn the paper this way! and I start from this edge, and I will fold the paper in half Just do it slowly! Calm down, and you will make it work! Fold the paper like this because I know that I made something wrong here! Fix this paper, and fold it in half again! Make the crease as strong as you can Next fold the paper over This step is a little bit harder I will start from this corner I will try to fold this and match it to this corner Just fold it slowly! Hold the paper down so it will not be moving Then, Just fold this crease to the center crease. as I have here. I will repeat the same fold Fold it slowly, and make sure everything works fine Fold this paper back here and repeat the same step for the other side Put your hand inside this paper and pull this part up Match this corner to this corner Ok, then you need to fold this crease down to the center crease Here we go! Perfect Fold this layer back here Fix all the creases first Then fold this layer to this side Now I start from this edge I fold it to the center crease. It looks really good now! Then, I turn the paper this way I will start from the edge here fold it to the edge over here Make sure that all edges are lined up. Ok, it looks really good for now Then I just fold this crease in I meant I start from this edge I fold it in to create a crease straight to this corner Then, we will repeat the same step for the other side Open this layer Put this layer back here Ok, start from this edge fold it to the center crease Start from this edge, fold it to this edge Okay, and then I will fold this edge in here, to match this edge to this corner See that!? This edge to this corner Looks really good! Here we go, and now I will open this part Then, I fold this layer back here Then I repeat the same step. Fold it to this side I fold this one back Now, next step. This is a hard one. I will match this edge to this corner Do you see this corner here? Can you see the corner right here? Match this layer right there. Now, I know it’s matched to the corner Now I fold this part of the paper in again Now You can see the distance from this corner to this corner i longer than the distance from this corner to this edge That is good! You need to make sure this distance is shorter than this distnace Just a little bit Now, it is good for now! Make sure that this edge match this corner Fold this one back here Now, I will repeat the same step for the other side I just fold this one first Hold the paper right here, and fold this one down Make sure the paper will not shift at all. I will repeat the same step for thi side Fold this layer back like this Now, we can just match the edge we are going to match to this edge we have already on the bottom Then, hold thi layer fold this one up, and then fold it down so that is what we have for now! We have all creases Okay, now! I will pull this layer out and I will pull this one out! Now, we need to make the wings stronger by folding this edge in to double the hardness of the wings When I fold in, I estimate about 1/4 of an in to fold it I fold it straight to the top here This is a weird fold but you can do it Just calm down, and you will make it work It is even better if you fold it more than 1/4in a little bit If you are not sure how to measure it, use a ruler. I repeat the same step for the other side I will do it this way, so I will have the wings even I will fold this part like this. Then I shift the whole part to this side and then I just fold this part As you can see here, we have a crease I will fold it down Okay, it looks very good 🙂 As you can see here, I fold this layer to the left side I fold this part of the paper back in I will repeat the same step as I did before Fold this layer down like this I will fold this part up I repeat the same step for this side Fold it to this side Fold it back Juts fold this back down here It looks very good a gain 🙂 Now, I will turn the paper over You see this part, I fold it to the center crease I repeat the same step for the other side Fold this one in Next step, fold the paper in half Make sure all edges are matched As you can see here, fold it in again! Now thsi is a hard step I will estimate about 1 in and 1/4 from the top here along this edge right here Just fold it straight to this corner I’ll repeat the same step for the other side Fold it down This is what we have for now Open the paper Now you can see the wings, and it almost look like the F15 Now, I will start from this corner, I fold it straight the center crease or canter part Repeat the same step for the other side This is what we have for now Fold it in, make the crease hard! Next step, I will fold this one back up!… like this Make sure this edge will parallel with the center part I repeat the same step for this side Now, you can fold this one up a little bit! Fix it a little bit! Looks really good for now 🙂 A few more step you need to do to make the F15 ( fly well ) Just a few more step! Next step You can see the pocket here! I will insert this part into the other pocket This is the step to make your model look nice when you want to show off to your friends If you just want to fly it, you don’t need to do it If you do it, when you throw the plane the pocket get loose and, and the paper will be pulled out the plane will crash So, it is optional! Fold it like this so your plane will look nicer You can see how it looks now! Here we go! So this is the F-15 You need to do a few more step though I will create the elevators here Then, curve this one up a little bit, too! I will create an elevators over here. Fold it up a little bit Curve it up a little bit Then you look at the wings here I just fold it down a little bit like this Curve it down! See that, just a little bit! Repeat the same step for this side The reason Ido it is to make it look more like the real F-15 and it will help the plane fly well See that? Fold this one up a little bit! Here we go! Here is the F-15 Now, I will show you how to fix it and throw the airplane You need to hold where you feel it the center of the plane I feel this is the center of the plane, so I will hold it right here Make sure that this one the pockets here are inserted, and it stays strong It will be pulled out when you play a lot and you need to put it back nicely! Make sure the elevators are up a little bit The wings should be flat Even the elevators ( wing-tails) are flat as well and make sure the stabilizers are straight up Otherwise, the plane will turn to the left or right! Here we go, this is the F-15, and I hope you guys will like it! and have a fun time playing with it.
