Now with the extra flap we are going to fold
this corner up, fold that triangle up so that it gets hidden underneath. Same thing with
the top corner, fold it down. Refold that edge, that triangle. Now notice you have two
layers on top. The bottom layer, valley fold down so that you just have a remaining two
triangles on top, and then notice too that on the bottom we also have these two layers.
For each of these triangles, we are going to fold it in half like this from the center
out. So the points, the bottom point will come out to the outside point. Same thing,
the top point will come out to the outside point. Same thing over here. Bottom point
to the outside point. Essentially, we’re folding the triangles in half. And then what we are
going to do with these is to squash fold them. Lift them up on the axis, on the creases that
we just made. Open it and squash fold it down so that the triangles become squares. And
for all of these, for all four of these we are going to do the same thing. Squash fold
them into a square.
