Basic Origami Forms : Origami: Masu Box Part 2

In this clip I will show you how to fold the
top of the masu box so that it can go over the bottom. Starting with the blitz base again,
the only variation with the top, is that when we fold the edge, we are not folding it completely
to the center. We are leaving about one centimeter out, or actually, two millimeters out. Two
millimeters out from the center for all of the edges. All the edges we are going to fold
it out about two millimeters from the center. This allows the top of the box to be a little
bigger than the bottom so it will nicely cover it. And then from there, we will proceed like
we did with the bottom of the box. Same steps, same exact steps, fold the edges in, lift
up, push the diagonals in, fold that edge down, that flap down into the box. Same thing
over here, push the diagonals in, fold the flaps down. And here you have a little bigger
box that can go over the bottom of the box, the top of your masu box.
