Hi, boys and girls. Welcome to a brand new episode of Badanamu Arts & Crafts. Can you guess who we’re going to learn to draw today? He loves naps. He loves snacks. He’s chubby and super cute. It’s… Fat Cat Mat! First, let’s bring out very helpful friends, the Handy Helpers! Hi, Handy Helpers! Wow, isn’t that a lovely bow tie you have! Adorable! Ready to get started? Okay, Handy Helpers, can you show us what we need to draw Fat Cat Mat? Oh! You’re right. We definitely need paper. But what else? Aha! Our marker.

[singing: crayons] I see brown, [singing: brown] Orange [singing: orange] and pink! [singing: pink] We can use those for coloring time. Handy Helpers, do we need anything else? No? Okay! Well, let’s start by writing Mat’s name. Can you help us with that? Great! Mat’s name is ‘M’ for /m/. ‘a’ for /a/ and ‘t’ for /t/. Wow! Easy, peasy. That’s M-a-t. Mat! Alrighty then. Here we go. Let’s start with a nice round circle, for Mat’s head. Right! Just like that, Handy Helpers. Wow! What a beautiful circle! Next, Handy Helpers, let’s draw Mat’s ears. I know, we can draw two triangles for those. One triangle Two triangles Looks great! Hmm. How about for Mat’s nose? What shape is Mat’s nose? Aha! I see. A teeny-tiny triangle. Let’s try it now. Wow! Do you know what’s next? That’s right! We need to draw lines for Mat’s mouth. Mat has two short lines to make his mouth. One, and two. Looks good! Now we have head, ears, a nose, and a mouth. Let’s draw some eyes for Mat next. Mat’s eyes are half circles. Half circles are easy. Just draw a straight line first. Then, add half a circle. Great! We need to make one more! Straight line, half circle. Wow! Now we’re getting close. I can see Mat! I think we need to draw two more tiny curved lines. One Two Great job, Handy Helpers! Now his face is all done. It’s time to draw his body! Okay, it’s one big oval shape. Great! Hmm. What else does he need? Right! Mat’s legs! Handy Helpers, how many legs should we draw? That’s right! Four legs for Mat. Let’s make four long U-shapes.
Count with me, everybody. 1 2 3 4 1-2-3-4 4 legs Wow, we’re really almost done! What’s next, Handy Helpers? You’re right, of course! Mat needs his bushy tail. Handy Helpers, can you show us how to draw Mat’s tail? Wow! That’s it!
