Avocado Toast Charm : Miniature Food : Polymer Clay Tutorial : DIY Crafts by Andisa Charms

To make the toast slice I’m starting to make to loaf of bread I’m shaping the clay in the form of a big baguette The color I’m using is a mixture of ecru, sienna, white and translucent. I’ll leave the ratios on the description box Once I’m happy with the size and shape of the loaf. I’ll continue to add texture and color. using sandpaper on the bottom, helps with the texturing process with the help of a toothbrush I’ll add texture to the entire loaf now I’m adding the baked effect using pastel chalks, I want this toast to be really toasted , so I’m applying darker tones now i’ll proceed to slice the loaf, I’m making slices of about 3 mm. thick. with my fingers i’m curving the slices a bit more Now I’m also adding texture to both sides of the slice for even more texture I’m using my handmade needle tool with a simple needle , I’m poking some holes , here and there I will now add some grilled marks using brown pastel chalks with water and a small brush I will bake them just to harden for just 10 minutes.
It will make the next step easier. I will make some simple skinner blend with these two tones of green, to make the avocado flesh I’m kinda shaping the clay into a scalene triangles now I pair them together, and I will begin to bend them and streech several times, until reaching a gradient effect you can absolutely skip this step, it’s just to show you the skinner blend technique after 10 times or more you’ll reach the gradient effect, just as shown now to make the avocado slices, I compact the clay, to make small slices before adding the avocado to the toast, I spread some liquid clay, so it can stick now to make the toast, I’ll slice some avocado and I will smash them slightly with my tool Now to make a simple fried egg, I take some white clay With this dotting tool , I add some texture on the edges, and in the middle I make a hole for the yolk now using a small brush and some brown pastels to add the crispy effect use a little ball of yellow for the yolk, just place it
on the hole, and push slightly I add some more liquid clay to stick the egg on top add more texture if needed on top of the yolk I add a drop of liquid clay to make it look more realistic as a final touch , I’m sprinkling some black sand to simulate black pepper all done now , bake complete according to package instructions.
thanks so much for watching.
