An EXCITING Day!

An EXCITING Day!

– Hey mom, today’s the race. – [Mom] I know! – Can I come? – [Mom] Um? Yeah! – Yay! – Ready, set, blow. – [Mom] So if you can’t
tell, we are doing CVX live, And one of my favorite
things, is when our viewers ask if they can be on camera. (tire screech) (engine roars) – We’ve got Julie on a surfboard. (bike bell rings)
With a wave. Is this paddle boarding in Hawaii? – Surfboard in Hawaii
– [Mom] Surfboards in Hawaii. So which one? Well I kind of
like the surf-girl the best. – People have voted this one. – [Mom] Really? I like the
surf-girl one because– – My teacher voted this one. – Surfing was probably
one of the best memories I’ve ever made. – [Mom] Aw, we need to
get back to Hawaii and go surfing some more. – Yeah but guess what? This year dad said that
being that her family taught us how to surf, are
coming here and we’re gonna teach them how to ski! – Awesome. Mahino Hawaii, you coming to Utah? We’ll take you to the slopes. We love to ski in our family. Which one do you like Abby? – I just think, you like Dora? I don’t know why but. – Do you like Dora the explorer? – [Girl] I like the surfing one. (Mom laughs) – [Mom] I like the surfing one too because it’s a person. – It’s probably easier to draw. – [Mom] Don’t go off
what’s easiest to draw. I think it’s cuter-
– [Girl] I think the hardest one to draw, is probably
the ones that are the best. – [Mom] Go after the one,
that draws more emotion. – Surfing, surfing, surfing – Mom Today’s the race. – [Mom] I know! – Can I come? – [Mom] Um? Yeah! – Yay! – We got slap bracelets
– Yeah he gave me one too. – [Mom] Who gave them to you? – It was somebody’s birthday. – [Mom] Ah, slap bracelets
instead of cookies. Would you rather get a slap
bracelet than a cookie? – Yeah. – [Mom] Really? – Yeah
– [Mom] You’re crazy. (slap) (upbeat music) Hey Eve, who told you you could take fruit snacks? – Russel did. – [Mom] Russel did? Where’s Russel? Russel? – Yeah? – [Mom] Have you been eating fruit snacks? – No it was Eve that ate one. – [Mom] She said you gave them to her. – No I told her that she could eat it. – [Mom] You told her she could? – Yeah because she was so hungry. I don’t know, she told me to make her that macaroni and cheese thing and then fruit snack was the only thing. (harp strums) – Today, this is basically like the pinewood derby
race, except you build a boat and then there will be a track of water and then you blow it to the end and there only can be two
people against each other. – [Mom] And Russel has
been working on his boat. He and Kevin made it and Russel painted it. And he has been looking
forward to it, for so long. – There’s actually a
CVX site party tonight. – [Girl] There is? – Yeah, I shouldn’t have said
that, I didn’t know you were standing there and listening. Well I might go, I don’t want you guys home so late.
– [Girl] I want to wear these. – [Mom] Um, you’re gonna wear what? – [Girl] These. (upbeat jazz) – What I was trying to
say was CVX live was doing a party tonight for
their invited creators. Kevin’s in Mexico, and
I didn’t have the heart to not let Russel participate in this he’s been so excited. So I might miss the party. (soft music) Russel which one is yours? Is this one yours? (singing triumphantly) That’s a pretty cool boat Russel. – [Girl] Come on lets go. – [Mom] You’re gonna race it. (soft dramatic music) What do you got there? – [Russel] A paper boat. – [All] Indivisible with
liberty and justice for all. (mellow dramatic music) – [Mom] Cheer for Russel. – Ready, set, blow. Blow blow don’t touch it with your straw Jacob. (Russel blows) big breath, you can turn it. Blow! – [Boy] I can’t. (Mom laughs) (Russel laughs) – [Mom] Oh my gosh. Okay, do nice long blows. Can you do nice long blows? (upbeat music) (crowd claps) – [Eve] Russel you need a straw! – [Scout Leader] It’s going backwards, go! – [Mom] It’s going backwards! – [Russel] This is so hard! – [Scout Leader] Blow,
blow, Keep going, keep going look at that! – We’re not cheating! (crowd cheers) – That is so hard! – Okay Russel I bet you’ll do better this way, ready? – Ready, set, blow! – [Mom] Ah, there we go! – Awesome, good job. (upbeat music) – Navy seal. Good job.
– [Mom] Oh that’s a good one. Eve, I’m tying so hard, not to go crazy watching those white
slippers get all dirty on the asphalt. Alright stop, freeze. Look at these unicorns. They are so sad. And so dirty, look at these! I was trying really hard not
to go into control over them and I kept saying, yes they are white and they are just slippers,
they are only slippers. If you ever see this
video when you’re older you know that your mom loves you. – Whoah! – Do you know that? Alright Eve, if your watching this 20 years from now just know I told you all the time how much I love you and I don’t know if you ever listened, so hey just a minute we’ll walk
across the street together. – [Eve] Bird, bird, bird
– Just a minute now! – [Eve] Those are birds. – [Mom] Hi, hold my hand. – [Eve] Bird, bird, bird, bird! – [Mom] Okay, you run in the house we’re gonna go take a
bath, run in the house. Look how pretty my house is. This is a sneak peak a sneak peak before I do my house tour. Isn’t it beautiful? I just love it. Eve, you and Russel, you
have one job at CVX live. – [Russel] Not to get lost. – [Mom] Don’t get lost. (upbeat modern music) – So if you can’t tell,
we are doing CVX live and one of my favorite
things is when our viewers ask if they can be on camera. Because it takes bravery and courage. So tell everyone who you are. – [Girl] I’m Jessy. – And this is her mom,
they’re from Nova Scotia. They came on an eight hour
flight just to see us. I can’t wait to see you
at the super fan party. – Yeah. – Okay, say goodbye to everyone. – Bye. – Zach is here and he
wanted to say something. – Go follow eight
Passengers, they’re amazing. (laughing) – Eve, are you finally joining us? Eve said, “I don’t do
pictures, I only sign”. (upbeat jazz music) CVX has gone well so far and we are getting ready to
go on stage for a Q and A. – Getting ready by putting
chocolate in my mouth? – [Mom] It’s Bobo’s birthday Happy Birthday Bo! I don’t know where my kids are but they are playing
somewhere, we’ll figure it out. – [Man] They’re playing
hide and seek from mom. (Mom gasps) – That’s how you get ride
of your kids you guys I don’t know if you know the secret. You tell your kids you’re
going to play with them, you get them really excited. You ask them to go hide,
really well and if they can stay hidden without being
found they get a prize. – That’s so mean. – [Mom] And then you never go find them. (laughing) – She did that to me, when I was six. I remember hiding
(laughter) and you and you’re friend Abby never found me. – You’re the best, you won! Good job Julie. (upbeat old jazz) (tire screech) (engine roars)
