Agateware/Nerikomi Patterns with Colored Porcelain #3

Agateware/Nerikomi Patterns with Colored Porcelain #3

Welcome back to the studio everybody. My
name is Jim and this is layered clay video number three. In this video you will see
plain porcelain, blue porcelain and green colored porcelain, as I try some
different agateware/nerikomi designs. Alright, let’s jump into the
video. This is cube I made from the cut-offs you just saw. I rounded the edges a
little bit and I sanded down the corners just to make it a little different than the last cube that I made. I’ll be honest with you the compression
of this block at the end may have distorted my designs but we’ll see. Hmm
not bad. I’m okay with that. I love it! It looks like seashells. What do you think
it looks like let me know in the comments. There’s a little bit of
separation down here but I’m not worried about that. I’m sure when I compress it
it’ll be fine. That was layered clay video number three
thanks for watching. Thank you to all of you who have already subscribed to this
channel. If you haven’t yet hopefully this video
earned your subscription. If you enjoyed this video give it a like. I’m Jim and
don’t forget to make do and learn! Ever play this game with quarters?
