Advanced Origami Folding Instructions : The Origami Dove: Part 1

In this clip, I will show you how to make
a dove. This is a model that can be found in “Origami Omnibus” by Kunihiko Kasahara.
Starting with your paper color side down, we are going to fold it on a diagonal into
a triangle. Point to point, edges flush. Fold this triangle in half, to a smaller triangle,
point to point, in half. Open it back out to the larger triangle. Take this point, and
fold it up to the top point, so that the bottom edge aligns with the center crease. Same thing
with this side. Fold the side point to the top point. Now we have a square again. Now
take your entire unit, and mountain-fold it in half. Mountain-fold it in half. With all the sections
on top, we are going to fold it. The open ends towards your right, take your left point
and fold it down to this bottom point. Left point to the bottom point.
