Adding Dimension On A Card With Tonic Studios Craft Kit 27

Hi I’m Gerry from Gerry’s Craft Room In this video I’m going make card with lots of dimension with craft kit 27 first let’s take a peek at the products in this months the kit The Exclusive Tonic Craft Kit Binder and Fairy Frame Stamp Set The Craft Kit wallet and sticker the Exclusive Fairy Frame Die Set with 12
Dies Classic Card Mirror Card Pearlescent Card
Speciality Card and Glitter Card Washi Tape a Glitter Marker and a Nuvo Marker
Pens set there some cute mini’s again Glacier Paste a Glitter Drop and Mini Dream Drop and there are also Foam Pads in this kit so let’s start with the card I have a bright white classic card for my base and I cut a piece slightly smaller out of the champagne harlequin card and I cut the frame out of green classic card I am going to cut a circle out of the champagne
card I use tape the keep the circle die in place first I add them on my sleeve to make the tape less sticky
it’s easier to do that on your pants but that was a bit harder to film and then I run it through the machine I added a piece of foam to the back with a
circle cut out of the middle and I cut the next frame in size out of the
pearlescent card and out of ultra smooth card and I am going to glue the pieces together Just so you know I added the main products I used in the description box for you you can find the full list of supplies on my blog and if you are new here and you like what you see don’t forget to subscribe I add it a bit off set so the white shows I cut of the bits that are sticking out
you can cut these out of two circles shapes to of course
to save some paper I am going to tape the two pieces together and then I am going to tape another piece of foam to the back of the card with a circle shape cut out of the middle
and this is another way to get dimension to build it up and keep the flat card without
any folding now I am going to add the frame on top of
the card and then the base part is done
now I’m going to add some colour with nuvo aqua flow pens and I spray front and back of the card with water against warping I am going to colour two pieces of card and then I dry them with a heat tool I cut the smallest frame out of the biggest card and I am going to glue and tape the small card to the back I cut the little ivy border and I am going to
colour it with the same green aqua flow pens and then I let it dry and now I add it to the card
I cut off a little piece so I can stick it under the frame and then I glue it in place I check again with the first part and then I add the complete piece I made first on top now I add the little fairy cut out of black card and I tape the complete piece to the white
card base I cut and coloured the leaves with the same
aqua flow pens and I am going to stamp the veins I colour the stamp with the darkest aqua flow pen and then I press the dry leaf on the stamp and this way you get a water colour look this is what it looks like after drying I colour a strip of ultra smooth card for
the sentiment and I colour two more leaves and one is just
a part cut out of a scrap piece and I use pink and green for a soft look and I come in with the pink again to blend the colours and I let them dry I stamped the sentiment on the pink strip
and I am going to fussy cut it I just wiggle the paper to get a soft lined
shape and then I am going to add the pieces to the
card I first lay them out and I like how the leaves
are positioned so I tape them together and I just keep checking how the parts fit
best and you can see that you don’t need complete
leaves to make a nice focal point and to finish I add the sentiment with some
foam for even more dimension so here is the cute fairy forest card with lots of dimension I hope you liked the video don’t forget to like share and subscribe and make sure to keep on crafting
