Hi there! It’s Julie Davison from www.juliedavison.com. I have some projects to share with you that I made using the Oh So Succulent stamp set from the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. This is the stamp set that I featured in February for my Stamp of the Month Club. Stamp of the Month Club members get a new stamp set each month and a card kit to make three different projects. These are the three projects using the Oh So Succulent stamp set. The one I’m going to show you today is this one has a little accordion designer paper pop up. I was inspired by a project that my friend Meg Loven made around Christmas time and I thought it was just perfect with the Succulent Garden designer paper and the Oh So Succulent stamp set. It’s really easy! We just need a piece of designer paper that is 3″x 6″ and I’ve used the Paper Trimmer and scored at every inch. I started at one inch, then two inches, three inches, four inches and five inches. Now we’re going to take that paper and we’re going to accordion fold back and forth. You can use the bone folder if you need to get a nice good crease. Back and forth, just like an accordion. Then on the inside of the card we’re going to adhere one side of the accordion using SNAIL adhesive. You could also use Fast Fuse or Tear & Tape. I’m going to position the designer paper in the the top center of the inside of the card, and then I’m going to put adhesive on the other part and close the card. It will adhere to the inside of the card. For this card, I have stamped some of the succulents in the same color on the same cardstock and then I cut it out with the Succulent Framelits. I’m just going to add some of those die cut succulents using glue dots. There you have it: the Accordion Designer Paper Pop-Up Card. I hope you like this card and that you’ll give it a try at home. Thanks so much for watching! Happy stamping!
