2014 PR Recap: It’s Been an Amazing Year for Origami Owl


It’s been an amazing year for Origami Owl,
so charming, that there’s not a locket big enough to hold all of the incredible news
we have to share… Let’s start with Bella… On top of graduating from high school Bella
inspired young girls across the country by speaking at events like Girltopia hosted by
Girl Scouts of America, the Journey Girls Retreat, and the Live your Legacy Summit. She was popular with the media too . . . giving
countless interviews and attending some exciting press events in New York City and Miami. We
introduced Origami Owl to influential stylists, fashion bloggers and fashion editors from
many top publications! Bella even made appearances on Yahoo Finance and Good Morning America! O2 Jewelry made a debut as well in fashion,
business, and trade magazines and on celebrities such as Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi,
actor Matt Damon’s wife Luciana, and on the Today Show when Kathy Lee Gifford shared
her personal locket with viewers! Our success over the last year is also evident
in the increasing number of media impressions captured in publications, broadcasts, blogs
and online outlets. But it wasn’t just the media that was attracted
to Bella’s story and our phenomenal growth… The direct selling industry also took note… …we are humbled about our debut as # 50
on Direct Selling News’ 2014 Global Top 100 List, and were also recognized with their
Bravo Growth Award for the company with the highest percentage of growth in 2013. In addition
this past June at the Direct Selling Association’s annual conference Bella and Chrissy had the
honor of addressing top industry leaders. It’s been an award winning year for us having
garnered 19 awards…in the areas of Creative, Video, Marketing, Philanthropy and Community
Excellence, to name a few. Our on-line engagement continues to expand
significantly… Our social media channels like FaceBook, Pinterest,
Instagram and Twitter have increased considerably. We’ve added followers, created new conversations,
and given our friends an inside look at The Nest, further strengthening an already strong
online presence. We’ve also strengthened the bond with our
communities…Serving those in need and spreading happiness as we pay it forward. It’s been an extraordinary year…we’re
well on our way to fulfilling our goal of becoming a household name…and helping all
of our Designers build a successful business and be a force for good.
