10 Furniture Designs that Define Luxury Comfort and Productivity

From a gravity-defying chair to a bed
that can do it all check out these amazing pieces to add or upgrade to your
bedroom or living room. Number Ten Spin D An example of smart ingenuity and amazing craftsmanship it is a piece of
multifunctional furniture made of handmade small segments of natural wood.
Each slice of the wood is either an A slice or B slice. The A piece curved
slightly to the left and the B slice curves slightly to the right. The pieces
slide together with ease and with a turn of an Allen key locked down so they
won’t move. It’s almost like a giant puzzle some examples are a chair, stool,
table, and partition, but the possibilities are endless, and you can
buy different sized packs ranging from 60 to 75 pieces. Allowing the user to
create whatever design they could imagine. I was a little apprehensive when
I first saw this product and when doing my research, but the more I look at it I
have really come to admire the work and craftsmanship, that went into designing
this. Number Nine Flooda Levitating Bed Someone, please come take my computer
away from me so I don’t order one of these beds right now. This bed is almost
fully suspended in the air and it defies gravity and balances itself perfectly on
one single height-adjustable leg, while the headboard is mounted to the wall to
help support and stabilize it from tipping over. You have different options
when purchasing as well from leather, fabric, or glass headboards, to help suit
the look of your bedroom. The company has done a meticulous amount of testing on
these beds to make them foolproof. They have done a tremendous amount of
rigorous weight load tests to achieve the safest bed possible. Fully suspended
it can handle two people weighing up to 308 pounds while sleeping, or two people
weighing 265 pounds, seating on the edge. Number Eight The Emperor With the
Signature Emperor Scorpion shape and outline and industrial-grade steel
structure, tilting capabilities, integrated the audio system LED lighting,
this workstation is the future of high-end home and office computer work
environments. Its functionalities enable the user to experience
unprecedented comfort, and total immersion, through strategically
positioned monitors. Which allow the user to shelter themselves from visual
distractions and this provides privacy and security when working.
The result is
a complete computer office, ergonomically optimized with a minimal footprint that improves
overall performance and productivity. Number Seven K Sofa This sofa addresses
one’s needs after an exhausting day. To return home to relax in front of the
fireplace, television, or just to enjoy a good book. Developed by Swiss designer
Alexander Rain, K can be considered a landscape for your living room, able to
react to your various needs. The user becomes the protagonist and through his
or her, movement and interaction, with the furniture object alter its shape and
sitting angles, to accommodate their body accordingly. The soft geometric shapes,
contemporary lines, and high quality material make this an amazing addition
to your living room and a great conversation starter. Number Six Elysium This chair does not only look super comfortable to sit it is actually
helping you in the long run. This chair was designed with a carbon fiber
skeleton. With upholstery springs that are fused to the frame, with a precise
tension and location. To help balance the chair and have it perfectly fit the
human body. This design allows the chair to swivel back on one main frictionless
access point to help achieve a sense of weightlessness. The actual inventor of
this chair is Dr. David Wicket. He wanted to create a chair that would place the
body in a state of equilibrium. Where all joints are flexed to balance muscular
and ligamentous tension, and help support the lower back, and aligns the pelvis.
Which reduces the stress in the lowest joints of the spine.
Elysium represents new thinking and ergonomics and design when it comes to
comfort. Number Five PewDiePie Gaming Chair Most of us know
and love this guy. He is one of my favorite YouTubers, so he had to be on my
list somewhere. PewDiePie teamed up to make a chair so magical and finally
engineered it makes number six look like a joke. It is so perfect that it earned
the legendary seal of the brofist right in the middle of the backrest. It has a
custom color scheme with a zebra print pattern to give it that PewDiePie Flair.
It has all the functionality of a normal gaming chair but with one main feature
that allows the person to fully recline the chair in a laid-back position. Which
is where this chair also sparked up another meme, because he says, ‘unless you
bought my chair’ as if we all spent almost $400 on our office chairs. Which
we rated both memes a nine out of ten. Haha. It is all in good fun though,
because if you can afford it, pick one up. Because it is one sweet looking gaming
chair. Then you can ask everyone. But, can you do this???? Number Four SomaDome Meditation Pod With the busy, crazy, and hectic life we have nowadays,
wouldn’t it be nice for 20 minutes a day to escape at all? This is where the Soma
Dome Pod comes into play. The dome structure gives the illusion of infinite
space and use. A different color scheme of lights that help regulate and control
autonomic nervous system and production of melatonin and cortisone, two hormones
critical to health and wellness. It doesn’t stop there though. The pod
transforms EMF frequencies that are out of funk with our body’s natural
electromagnetic signals. Also, it uses Vie neural beats in guided and unguided
tracks to help achieve a clear mind during your meditation. It’s using the
same practice as Tibetan monks use gongs and other instruments to help access a
meditative state. I really do enjoy the look and overall
thought that went into this product and I would love to try one out in the near
future. I could use some distressing. Number Three Ceiling Retracting Beds These beds are such a smart and practical way to have your bedroom set
up. I really need to rethink setting up my room like this. Some of these beds are
held with a steel cable on a motorized pulley system, to lift the bed to the
ceiling and, others are set on a motorized bed frame, that is attached at
the headboard. So when it lifts all the way to the ceiling it is completely gone
from view. These beds turn small spaces into a very spacious living area. They
can be decorated with LED lights or curtains to help match your interior
design look as well. Number Two Hican Smart Bed With Hican, design meets technology, to define a new category of bed. Crossing the
traditional boundaries of furniture. It suggests a new interpretation of the
classic canopy. Creating an intimate cocoon to connect and communicate. This bed has a plethora of features including a 70-inch Home Theater Screen, an HD
Projector, adjustable head, and footrest, dimmable LED lighting with RGB ambient
lights, innovative sound system, Xbox, or Playstation gaming console support.
automated privacy blinds, personal health tracker, and voice control. If all that
wasn’t enough the external structure of the bed is made from an innovative
Italian solid surface composite material, while the interior is finished in either
matte, or glossy lacquered wood and leather, or fabric upholstery. Number One Earthquake-proof Bed If you live in an earthquake hotspot you may be able to
sleep a little sounder. Thanks to concept designs for an earthquake-proof bed.
Resembling a cross between a strongbox and a Venus flytrap, the mattress drops
into a chamber covered with a protective lid, when sensors feel the ground shaking.
The occupant inside then waits out the quake in the strongbox until help
arrived, or the quake subsided. The design also shows that the beds would also have
a space for supplies, including water, food, medical kits, and even tools. There
is no word yet on whether any of the designs will make it past the initial
concept phase, or when we might be able to buy one. I really hope this does get
approved because this could save a ton of lives. That is why it is my number
1 for this video even though it is still in the testing phase. The one thing I worry
about when looking at the different designs is I hope you don’t sleep with
your leg or arm hanging off the side of the bed. Hey guys. This is Amber. I hope you guys enjoyed the video. You can help out by
