Hello everyone, I’m MASA. Today I’d like to share a recipe to make a tasty rice dish. It’s called [Japanese] Soba Meshi Chahan Soba Meshi Fried Rice Um…sounds quite similar The characteristic of this dish is to complete by
stir-frying steamed rice and noodles together. It’s been saying that this dish is offering in okonomiyaki stores for their employees. When it’s meal time they put noodles and rice left on that day on an iron plate adding some sauce and complete this dish. [Cooking Tips] It turns out pretty delicious and becomes official dish on the menu. So if you visit Japan, you can see lots of stores selling this kind of fried rice. [Cooking Tips] The ingredients added is really up to different stores. [Cooking Tips] Also, different households have their own styles. So you can show your creativity and try every possible ingredient you like. It’s really easy to make. Alright, let’s get started. (Sliced pork belly—80 g) [Cooking Tips] Using sliced beef is also recommended~! ^^b (Cut into small portions) (Blanched konjac noodles—50 g) (Cut into short length) (1 clove of garlic) (Grind into paste) (1 ginger) (Grind into paste) (2 tbsp of sake) (1 tsp of sugar) (1.5 tbsp of soy sauce) (Mix them well) (Marinate for about 5 minutes) (1 green onion) (Chop into small rings) (1 Instant noodles—40 g) (Smash it) (Take out the seasoning powder) [Cooking Tips] You can use Chinese noodles (chopped into short length) to replace instant noodles. (1/2 tsp of unsalted butter) (Put to medium heat) (1 egg) (Stir evenly) (Wait until the butter melts) (Pour in the egg liquid) (Stir fry and wrap the butter in egg)
(Allow the egg to absorb melted butter) (To avoid overcook, pour the egg out first) (Add some oil) (Put to medium high heat) (Pour in the marinated pork and konjac noodles) (Cook over high heat to rapidly heat it up) [Cooking Tips] Cook until the pork has scorch aroma. (Steamed rice—about 100 g) [Cooking Tips] Both overnight rice and just-cook steamed rice are ok~! (smashed instant noodles) (Add the egg you just cooked) (Separate them evenly) (Chopped green onions) (2 tsp of mayonnaise) (optional) [Cooking Tips] By adding mayonnaise, you can enjoy fried rice with smoother texture and savoury smell! (Black peppers~a lot) (Turn off the heat) (Plating) (Some white sesame) Ok, here is a plate of rapidly made
Soba Meshi Fried Rice. The cooking time is really short. I’ve already smell the savoury aroma. Ho ho ho ~ [Japanese] Dewa Itadakimasu. The fried rice smells really good. [Cooking Tips] Marinating the pork belly & Konjac noodles with yakiniku sauce first helps create savoury aroma later on when stir-frying them. The pork belly & Konjac noodles are seasoned just right. The overall color of this fried rice is quite dark, so the flavor seems pretty strong but actually, we’ve added instant noodles, [Cooking Tips] The unseaoned steamed rice and instant noodles helps neutralize the flavor! ^^b So it tastes just right.   1. 麵加飯一起吃,有點顛覆我們一般的習慣。就像我一直不能理解日本小朋友吃的「炒麵麵包」一樣。不過王子麵又香又脆,加在炒飯裡一定是很好吃的。
