The bottom is rounded I think this is advanced level origami
but very fun to make You can make it out of a sheet of copy paper Copy paper in 1:1.4 ratio
(A4 or A5 is recommended) scissors to separate the paper

the three dots button or the gear icon Do not make a crease here Do not make a crease make a small mark here Please pause the video and
fold at your own pace back side up little shorter than the paper beneath mountain fold mountain fold Please pause the video and
fold at your own pace Fold every other pleat fold the lest from the opposite direction unfold the last triangle joint to make a hexagon fold the triangles back The lid is done back side up reinforce the crease repeat this to the end Please pause the video and
fold at your own pace reinforce the crease going to make a bottom of the box fold the creases one by one place the left end in between the right end push it inside to make a hexagon and…. push the center at the same time tuck the triangle into back of the pleat then, push the while area out to
make the bottom rounded tuck the triangle into back of the pleat It’s easier to do by pushing back the side

  3. i seriously watch your videos with patience. just without a word how beautifully you display your art, engineering and mathematics. your videos and mit lectures for origami/geometric folding algorithms does put a lot of impact in my aerospace engineering life. if something learnt from your lectures/videos may make money in my life, i will definitely put you in acknowledgement and its money to you. thank you a lot for putting this valuable talent.

  4. キレイに出来ましたぁー❗
    コピー用紙で作ったのですけど
    今度、可愛い包装紙で作ってみようと思います😋

  5. A demonstration well detailed. What made me watch this video to the end was to see how did you make those lovely diamonds shapes of the lid. And again that small hexagon at the base of the box brought a smile to my face when it finally was formed. This is an origami box that I've never seen before. Thank you, I will add it to my library and this weekend I will try to make it and see the result.

  6. 10:20 that is a genius way of doing those creases! Why didn't I think of that. Can use this method in many other pieces too. Thank you. Great tutorial

  7. Instead of pinching the bottom at the end to help lid fit could I cut 1 com strip from the bottom part before folding it into 7?

  8. Thank you so much, I did it step by step with you, using a red rose wrapping paper and it turned out awesome 🙏🏻🌹
