Two frogs and the pot of milk Two frolicsome and frisky frogs were jumping around the beautiful and lovely marsh. After finishing glancing over the marsh, frogs always were going to one hardworking peasant’s yard and with great interest were looking to those huge animals that lived there. Cow and horse were giants for frogs; ducks and chickens were less dangerous, but frogs were evading them anyway. The most dangerous was the angry dog that even didn’t let the frogs to croak quietly, because dog was always starting to bark at them. This yard was very interesting. That’s why frogs were visiting it every day. The marsh life was monotonous and uninteresting, but in the yard sometimes cock were fighting, sometimes ducks were running after each other, sometime horse was neighing so loudly that frogs were even afraid of it. The frogs were always visiting the yard but they couldn’t dare to enter the house. The housewife was always doing her jobs there; and she really wouldn’t be glad to see them in the house. Once it happened so that house owners went somewhere together; and the frogs could enter the mysterious house very easily. “Well, let’s enter the house while they are away” – said elder frog. “Maybe it doesn’t worth it, who knows what awaits us there” – answered the younger one. However, this warning had no sense anymore. The elder frog was already sitting on the window-sill and with curiosity was looking at those things that he had never seen before. The young frog could do nothing with that, so he also sat next to his friend. They were very excited by looking such many interesting and unusual things. “Let’s jump” – suddenly exclaimed elder frog, held his little friend’s hand and both jumped. Suddenly everything mixed in front of them; their feet couldn’t touch any hard surface. Frogs found them self in a very obscure white marsh. It turned out that reckless friends were in a pot filled with milk. They were frightened and confused, and barely understood what happened. The frogs were diligently trying to escape from the white marsh. The elder frog was shaking his hand and feet for a while and soon got tired and said to his friend: “Why should I suffer, I’ll die anyway. I will never escape from here and it makes no sense to spend last minutes of life in suffer and hard working.” Indeed, as he stopped moving his feet and hands, he sank immediately. The young frog didn’t give up so easily. “I’ll fight until I got the power” – thought the frog and continued to blend the milk with his feet even more quickly. Suddenly the young frog felt something strange, the white marsh didn’t seem like water anymore, but it felt a bit thicker. At first it became as viscous as mad, and then it became quite thick. The frog worked so hard that milk turned into the butter. And he easily jumped from the butter and released himself. The situation may seem very hopeless for you, but you must not give up and should struggle to achieve the goal.
