How to Make Beautiful Quilling Designs Lets start with the first design Take the quilling stripes and paste the strips as shown. Make a quilling coil like this. Paste the quilling coil at the center of square shaped styrofoam sheet. To make the flower, cut the quilling strips as shown. Make tight coils with the yellow quilling strips as shown here. Now cut out the strip and make small coils like this. We need coils of different sizes like this. Now paste the quilling strips to make a flower. Follow these steps to complete the flower. Now we are going to make the leaf as shown here. Paste the green quilling strips in a leafy pattern. Here we have completed these leaves. Now let’s start to make some buds as shown here. Make some loose coils as shown here and give some of them a tear drop shape. Now paste some more green strips as shown and stick the buds to it. Now make one more leaf as shown here. Lets make some more leaves at the other end of the design. Now, we are going to make leaf of tear drop shape and paste it as shown. Your 1st quilling craft is now ready. Lets begin with quilling idea 2 Take 3 quilling strips of red, blue and yellow color and paste them to join these strips Make a tight coil. Wrap completely and paste the end. Paste and arrange the strips vertically to form a design on the whorl of the shell. Take one half of the yellow strip and make a tear drop shaped coil. Give it a petal shape with your fingers. Paste these petal shape quilling in the gap. Take a strip and make a tear drop shaped coil. Shape it with your fingers and paste it. Divide and cut a quilling strip into 5 equal parts. Paste and join a piece of yellow and red quilling strip. Make multiple tight coils as shown here. Similarly, make tight coils with blue and yellow combinations. Paste and arrange the tight coils to form a design. To make s-scrolls quilling design, divide and cut a quilling strip into 12 equal parts. Make multiple s-scrolls quilling as shown here. Similarly, make multiple red s-scrolls. Paste the s-scrolls to decorate the whorl of the shell. Decorate till apex of the shell with s-scrolls and blue loose closed coils. Take yellow and blue strips and make tear drop shaped coils. Give it a petal shape with your fingers. Paste these petal shape quilling and complete the boundary of the shell. Now paste the multicolor tight coil. Paste and arrange the strips vertically and the tight coils to form the design on the whorl of the shell Paste the blue strips vertically to give smooth boundary to the design. Now paste and arrange the s-scroll to give it an amazing look. Paste and arrange the petal shape quilling at the bottom of the shell. Fill the remaining gap with the red s-scrolls. Finally decorate the shell using some decorative stones. Let’s see the third quilling idea Let’s start to make the quilling petals as shown here. Place a cardboard on a thermocol and use a stencil to draw a heart shape on it. Now fix two pins on the heart shape as shown here. Now take a green strip and make a heart shape design as shown here. Now remove the pins to get a design like this. We need multiple such heart shapes in red and green color as shown here. Let’s start to make the coil, for this join the green strips as shown and make the coil. Take a cardboard and apply glue on it. Now paste a white sheet of paper on it. Let’s arrange and paste the petals. Paste the quilling strips to make the border for this design. Let’s decorate the flower with pearls as shown here. Take a satin lace and paste it at the backside of the quilling design for hanging purpose. Your beautiful quilling design is now ready. Let’s check out for the fourth quilling idea. Let’s start with black and white glitter sheet. Paste the black and white glitter sheet on the cardboard as shown. Draw a rough sketch of the duck. Now take quilling strips and make tight coils with it as shown. Give it a tear drop shape like this. We need multiple such shapes in different colors. Apply glue and paste the tear drop shapes on the design as shown here. Now take a blue quilling strip and make a tight coil of it. Give it the shape as shown here to make the beak of the duck. Now paste the yellow shapes on the duck. Now make some more blue strip coils as shown here. Make multiple such coils. Paste these shapes on the duck as shown. Now paste the other coil shapes on the duck like this. Now paste and join two different color strips and make tight coils from it. Make the desired shape as shown here. We need multiple such shapes in alternate combinations as shown here. Paste these shapes in the design as shown here. Now paste a quilling strip near the duck as shown here. Use the thermocol balls to decorate the design like this. Let’s see quilling idea 5 Make loose coils using quilling needle and give it a leaf shape. Wrap the blue quilling leaves with the pink quilling strip. Make multiple such petals. Paste blue and yellow quilling strips together. Make a tight coil using quilling needle. Give some depth to the coil and spread the adhesive on it to make the coils tight and look bright. Make multiple such coils. Cut out a circular shape from the cardboard to make the base. Cut plain white paper of the same size as that of the base. Paste this paper base on the cardboard base. Draw a circle on the base. Paste and arrange the quilling leaves on the base. Paste and join four quilling strips Roll and wind quilling strip in a circular shape. Paste this circular ring on the base as shown Paste and arrange blue yellow coils inside the circle. Now make a small circular shape of this quilling strip and use it to make the boundary for the coils. Cut the small pieces of satin ribbon measuring 2.5*2.5 cm as shown here. Burn and seal the satin ribbon strands. Fold the satin ribbon pieces in triangular shape. Burn and seal the corners to make small petals. Make multiple such petals. Paste these satin ribbon petals as shown here. Paste blue yellow coil at the center. Now, decorate this quilling wall decor using decorative pearls. Paste and join four blue strips and make a small circular shape. Give it a triangular shape. Paste this triangular shape on the backside of the wall decor to hang this decor. Paste and arrange these tear drop shape coils to form a design. Now paste and arrange strips vertically to form a upper body of the dress. Cut the shape from the red paper using cutter Paste this cut out on a white thick paper. To make the skirt, arrange and paste the cut out of yellow strips vertically Cut out half of a yellow quilling strip and paste and join with blue strip to make a loose coil. Paste these loose coils to the bottom of the dress. Divide and cut a blue strip into 8 equal parts and yellow strip into 4 equal parts. Paste and join the strips as shown here. Make multiple tight coils. Paste and arrange the coils to make a bottom line. Arrange the small strips between the previously pasted yellow strips.
